Bright Red Object/Light Spotted In The Sky Over American Canyon Napa County California

Date:  December 31, 2012
Time:  Just before midnight.

We saw a bright red object from the direction of the moon right before midnight, yesterday 12/31/12 in American Canyon, Napa county,CA.

It did not move like an aircraft. It was moving steady then suddenly zoom away.

Huge Bright Object Flew Through The Sky Seen From American River Bike Trail California

Date:  October 17, 2012
Time:  Evening.

I was on the American river bike trail with a few friends, we were close to the graveyard when all of a sudden a large bright object in the sky flew across the sky.

At first I thought it looked like a shooting star, but it was much larger and I began to think it was a crashing plane on fire. It flew behind the cliffs and out of our view seconds later.

Orange Lights Seen Flying Over The American River Area California (Chinese/Wish Lanterns)

Time:  Approx: 8:30 p.m.

Hello, just to let you know, I also saw 3 orange lights in the sky just as you described last night around 8:30 p.m., in the American River area. It was pretty un-nerving.  Five minutes later 3 more came by in the same manner, but lower.

As my neighbor and I were watching them, one started falling and fell to the ground several yards away from us. He ran to where it landed and discovered a small air balloon type of structure with a small amount of some type of fuel still burning in it.

I was very glad to have discovered what the lights were, because they initially scared me. Not sure who has been launching these things, but they could be a potential fire hazard.

The one that we found had landed on a gravel rd, but could have easily have landed in a grassy area. Needless to say it was an awesome sighting.

9 Lights Seen Flying In The Sky Over American Lake Lakewood Washington

 

Date:  July 4, 2012

Time:  10:00 p.m. to midnight.

 

My son and I were on American Lake in Lakewood last night (July 4^th) watching the fireworks late into the evening. There were many of us standing around outside and we all saw the same lights you describe. We tried to get cell phone photos also, but I’m not sure if anyone actually did. 

There was a distinct “flight” pattern, they would move at a even pace through the sky, stop and just be still for a while and then just disappear. 

We were at the lake from 10:00 p.m. to midnight and I counted 9 separate objects. I was trying to figure out what they were, but there was no good explanation for them. 

Right before we left, there were an additional two that came from a completely different direction, but they were the exact same objects as seen previously.
