Large Object Splits Into 5 Or 6 Parts Over Homestead Florida

Time:  Approx: 7:15 p.m.

Saw the objects around 7:15 p.m. on November 2, 2012 at first seemed like a large meteor fireball coming down from the sky, then it split in to 5 or 6 then 1 or 2 flamed off.

The others came down moving side to side in the Homestead, Florida area hope this helps

My wife called 911 and said something was falling out of the sky on fire. It looked like a meteor.

Huge Falling Ball Of Fire With Tail Fell Out Of The Sky Over Homestead Florida

I witnessed the same thing earlier tonight. I did not see it split. It remained one huge falling ball of fire with a tail, falling straight down in the sky. The sun had set, but there was still plenty of light out. It fell really slow and was much to large to be a shooting star.

What was this? I tried finding info online, but I cannot find anyone else who has seen this.

2 Fireballs Falling From The Sky Merging Into One Over Homestead Florida

In reference to today's fireball sighting over Homestead. I was leaving the school's park by SW 137 Ave., and 96 Street. I just know it was dark, the sun was almost completely gone. 

I looked towards the south western sky and saw 2 fireballs falling at what seemed to be a slow pace and merging into one. The trees covered my view and I couldn't see more.

Homestead Florida Main Object Splits Into A Number Of Lights (Excellent Video Footage)

Vike Factor Note: A witness to this sighting was kind enough to send along video footage, which is really awesome footage.

But I am still wondering if this was the result of Skydivers, as I have received sighting reports from Homestead in the past and it was a similar sighting.

That case turned out to be Skydivers. Also a bit of a clue might be folks mentioning a plane in the sky at the time of the sighting.

Object Falls From The Sky And Splits Up Over Homestead Florida (Possible Answer Might Be Skydivers)

The Vike Factor Note: Since there is a lot of reports of this sighting out of Homestead, and all pretty much the same and in the report below the witness refers to an aircraft above the lights, and it appeared to look like the lights were dropped out of the plane. This sighting may have been "Skydivers".

I saw it too and posted it on YouTube and Facebook to see if anyone else saw it. I still haven't found an answer. I saw them split up and I also saw an aircraft circling around at the top. I think it was dropping these fireballs or whatever they were.

5 Or 6 Lights Spiraled Down In Unison Seen From South Miami Heights Over Homestead Florida

Yes, me too, I'm glad someone else noticed it. I watched it from my drive way in South Miami Heights. It seemed as though it was towards the direction of Homestead.

From my angle it seemed as though 5 or 6 lights spiraled down in unison. One split off from the bunch and hovered for a few seconds.

It split in 2 then slowly descended. I rushed inside to call my father. By the time he came out he was only able to see a the last few seconds of it before our view was blocked by the neighbors' houses.
