9 Orange/Red Ball Shaped Objects Seen In The Sky Over Maine United States

Date:  December 24, 2012
Time:  Approx: 6:30 p.m.

I live up in Maine and on December, 24th around 6:30 p.m. I saw several to nine different orange/red pulsing lights ball shaped. No distinct pattern to them at all, as they were sprawled out in different areas around each other, but not a super close distant.

My step father, Father, Mother, and Sister all saw it together. It lasted for about several minutes before disappearing one by one. The thing is its not the first time I’ve experienced something similar.

It was many years ago however, when my friend and I saw at least 3 white lights around each other forming a triangle type shape. Must have been 9 pairs of these white lights arising from behind the tree lines upwards very slowly.

6 Orange Lights Flying Over Wells Maine

Date:  December 25, 2012
Time: Evening.

I found a website describing a UFO sighting in Wells, Maine 10/12 or 10/13/12. It said to report similar sightings to this e-mail address.

Tonight during our family's Christmas gathering at a home in Wells, we saw around 6 orange lights gliding overhead. Similar to airplanes, but the lights were brighter and orange (and not surrounded by any white lights). 

Not sure what they were. Someone said "could they be luminaries" in the air? I took a couple photos. I haven't looked at them on my computer yet, but I think they're pretty good (but don't have the entire group of lights in them, as it took a bit to get the right settings on my camera and they were already headed away).

Sky Lights Up Several Times Bright Blue And Green Over South Portland Maine

Time:  9:20 p.m.

I'm here in South Portland, Maine at 9:20 p.m. I was driving my little brother home as we both saw the sky light up blue and green.

Then it happen 2 more times 15 seconds apart. When we got home my mother told us to get flash lights and she said the lights just went off and on 3 times.

At the same time we seen the sky light up! What is it ?

Green Light Fell From The Sky Seen From Woolwich Maine

I was driving south on Route 1 in Woolwich, Maine last night at 8:30 p.m. and saw a green light "fall" from one side of the sky to the other. It looked pretty far away, not too much bigger than a big star. Is there any information on this type of thing?

About 13 Orange Glowing Objects Over Wells Maine

Date:  October 10 or 13th, 2012
Time:  Evening.

My husband and I saw about 13 of these orange glowing globes.

They crossed the sky on October 10th maybe 13th, 2012 or around that date. I had seen 3 of them a week or so before that. They traveled in small groups at a time 2 or 3 moving around each other.

My step son saw them too. My husband had taken photos on his phone. "Strange" We have no idea what they were.

Orange Ball Of Light Floating Over The State Of Maine

Time:  Evening.

Now I have seen the same thing tonight in Maine. An orange ball of light  floating across the sky. It was heading south. I could tell it was not a plane. It was low enough that I could see that it was a bright orange ball of light.

I was in the car and tried to get a video of it, but I couldn't get my camera working fast enough.

Bright Red Light Seen From Southern Maine

Date:  August 6, 2012
Time:  8:25 p.m.

I am in southern Maine and at 8:25 p.m. on 8/6/12 saw a bright red light very slowly moving west to east along the sky. It was over the ocean and seemed to be slowly moving and hovering. It was too big to be a satellite and moving far too slowly to be an airplane.

It lasted a couple of minutes (long enough for me to go grab my phone and briefly record it), then at some point moved back in the direction it came from. Finally it hovered in one spot before it was hidden by clouds.

My brief video is of it hovering just before it's hidden. My father saw it too. Neither of us has ever seen anything like it before or since.

Two Orange/Red Lights Flew Over Winter Harbor Maine

Date:  August 17, 2012
Time:  Approx: 9:00 p.m.

On Friday August 17 at about 9:00 p.m. one light that seemed too bright for a plane flew over head coming from direction of ocean and flying inland.

About 1-2 minutes later another light flew the same pattern.
