Three Different Colored Lights In The Sky Flying Over Pickering Ontario

Date:  August 3, 2012
Time:  Approx: 9:30 p.m.

August 3rd, 2012, about 9:30 p.m. 3 lights, each different colours, but moving exactly as you describe, like hang gliders with flares over Pickering, probably north of Taunton Rd. maybe a km or so.

Three loosely flying together, but two of the lights moved toward each other, then after bringing my wife out, she witnessed them and acknowledged they seemed very weird.

Air traffic travels much higher, and the planes and jets that travelled through within the half hour of the sighting all moved with flashing lights, in a steady predictable path.

The 3 lights we saw floated, silently and after racing inside to grab my photo, I jumped into my car and was in a clearing in less than 1 minute, but no sign of them.

Very strange, after calling the police to see if others had reported anything, I contacted the model airplane strip in the area, and they dismissed it, said they didn't really fly at night.

I will be watching, albeit a little nervously at my age there shouldn't be any surprises left to try to explain. Thanks for sharing your sighting.

Red/Orange Circular Object Seen Flying Over Pickering Ontario

Time:  Approx: 10:00 p.m.

Hello. On the evening of August 11, 2012, I was attending a family gathering at my sister's condo, in the Rosefield/Finch Ave area of Pickering. I'm not sure what time this occurred at, but it was probably at of after 10:00 p.m.

A group of us (approximately 5-7) were standing outside, saying our goodnights, when someone spotted an object in the sky that defied description. We were facing south, and this single object was moving from west to east, at about a two o'clock position, at a steady speed it's distance was hard to determine due to it being dark.

The object was circular, and had strong orange/red colour. Maybe about the size of a pea held out about 1 -1 1/2 from my eye. It took maybe a minute to cross the horizon, eventually disappearing into some clouds in the distance.

Generally it was a clear night, stars were visible, and there were scattered clouds. This object was below the clouds, and had no flashing, or other kinds of lights on it. It was also dead silent. To clarify this, we could hear, and see the faint blinking lights of a passenger jet very high, and due north of our location. 

I heard afterwards, that later that evening, some of my nephews, and their partners leaving the same function, basically saw the same thing again.

Afterwards, searching the web, for any corroborating stories that might have been posted, I found this story, which sounds almost exactly the same as what we witnessed.

Huge Orange Colored Lights Seen Over Pickering Ontario

 

Date:  January 20, 2009

Time:  Evening.

 

The objects I saw were orange in almost a perfect 0 shape with multiple, almost 20 scattered on either side.

 

This was at Altona Road and 401. I have a picture, but its not of the entire object. I drove back about 20 minutes later and it was gone, it was huge.

5 To 6 Orange/Red Lights Seen Around The Pickering Nuclear Power Plant Pickering Ontario

Shape of Objects: Round bright orange/red light.

 

Full Description of Event/Sighting: On the night of June 21, 2012, I was driving along HWY#2 travelling West, when I noticed out my (left) drivers side window and witnessed 5 possibly 6 very large bright orange/red lights.

 

Since I was driving I could not stare more than a couple of seconds without taking my eyes off the road, so I decided to pull off into a parking lot and watch these lights.

After pulling off 3 of the lights were gone and only 2 were visible and traveling East.

They could not be airplanes because they were a solid orange/red colour and didn't have the flashing on and off lights that airplanes have.

My estimate would be that these lights were over lake Ontario and possibly the Pickering Power Plant direction.

The sighting lasted no longer than one minute, I had never seen lights like this before.

7 Bright Orange Sphere Shaped UFOs Over The Pickering Nuclear Plant Pickering Ontario

Time:  10:35 p.m.

 

Number of witnesses: 1

Number of Objects: 7

Shape of Objects: Round sphere like objects bright orange.

 

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Seven objects, round in shape and bright orange hovered over Pickering, Ontario at around 10:30 p.m. For about 30 seconds they were gathered close together about 2,000 feet in altitude.

 

A plane approached from the west on an eastbound direction and the objects began moving in different directions and at higher altitude. Four objects moved south over the Pickering Nuclear Plant and then over Lake Ontario before disappearing into the cloud ceiling.

 

Another object continued moving east slowly before entering the clouds. The other two objects went straight up into the sky. All objects vanished very quickly after the plane passed through the area. No noise was present.
