Hello, we also saw three reddish lights above San Anselmo Saturday November 10, 2012 around 9:00 p.m. Couldn't explain what it was.

Orange Lights Spotted Flying Over San Anselmo California

We live in the Morningside neighborhood of San Anselmo. We witnessed the same thing at the same time as reported here.

The following morning two other neighboring households told us that they too saw the orange lights in the same part of the sky and just as described by you and witnessed by us.

One of the neighbors called San Anselmo PD who responded to their home and took a sincere interest, and even followed up with the other neighbor who took pictures. Very exciting.

10 To 12 Orange Colored Lights Over San Anselmo California

Hello there. Just wanted to report a similar sighting to many that are on your blog.  Last night at approximately 9:00 p.m., myself and seven friends were all making dinner and playing music in a house up on the hill looking down over San Anselmo.

We were sitting on the couch when we noticed some strange lights off to the east over the bay presumably. We all rushed outside to see anywhere from 10-12 glowing orange lights hovering in a strange formation.

They were slowly moving around each other, and at times stopped moving altogether.

We all scrambled around on the hill trying to get a better view, but we saw at least 10. It lasted for several minutes. Then it appeared as if they started to head east but actually just sort of faded out like strange embers or something.

Unfortunately we couldn't find anything online about anyone seeing the same ones as us, but did find your blog with so many sightings of the same sort. Very strange indeed. Thanks.
