Green Light/Object Observed Crossing The Sky From Phoenix Arizona

UFO/Craft Estimated To Be Approximately One Mile Long In The Sky Over Tucson Arizona (Excellent Diagram)

Location:  Tucson, Arizona.
Shape:  Unknown.
Duration:  3-4 minutes.

Large object with multi color running light observed flying above Tucson Arizona.

Witness #1 (name deleted) XX year old male. Retired Police Officer. 4 Years USAF as Security Police. Currently runs (deleted) Company.

At 2230 hrs this date, I (deleted) went to the front of my yard to walk towards a neighbor with the intent of checking on their dog since they were away on vacation. Our house lies in the Foothills (North Central) area of Tucson adjacent the Catalina Mountains.

I heard one of my dogs bark and I turned to look back at the house. Directly above the house I observed the object. The object was flying south to north. I would estimate that it was directly above I-10 (I-10 runs north and south) I-10 is approximately 7 miles due west of my House.

It was approximately 25 degrees above the horizon. I would estimate, and its only an estimate that from light to light would make the object at least one mile long.

My first thought was that the object (s) were in fact 3 objects strung out together and flying in formation. I assumed they were helicopters flying north. There is a Marine aviation base due north of us. Holding my hand at arms length in front of me, I would estimate object would have been (from running light to running light) 4-5 fingers in length.

The object at its southern point had one non-flashing light, in its approximately center was another non flashing red light, at its northern point were two lights, one which was white and non blinking and another light very close to the white light and it was red in color and blinking.

My wife exited the front door and I yelled at her to grab the binoculars and run out with them. This she complied with, retrieved the binoculars and she and (name deleted) came out to join me.

I brought the binoculars into focus and could see the object, which appeared to be moving fairly slow and continuing north. I could also ascertain that there was a darkened area between the 4 lights and that in fact these were not 3 separate objects. This horizontal area or structure did not appear to be very high but was flattened and "line" like.

I handed off the binoculars to both (name deleted) and (name deleted). We continued to watch the object as it continued north.

Approximately 3 minutes into the observation the object appeared to make a flight adjustment and it began turning into a northwest flight angle.

At this point and through the binoculars I could now see the rear end of the object. You could now see that it possessed 2 white lights in the rear of the structure.

It looked as though you were watching the rear end of a car that had two white running lights. The distance between the two rear light would be approximately 1 finger held up at arms length. The 3 other lights (red in the center, white and blinking red up from) were also still visible, but at more of an angle.

The front flashing red light was still visible. At all times the lights remained at a fixed distance from each other, the distance never varied as it would if you were watching a string of conventional aircraft struggling to maintain position relative to each other.

I was able to observe the object from its new flight path for approximately another minute to two minutes until it was lost over the horizon.

My wife and daughter told me (after object was gone) that while I was watching the object, and just before it was lost to sight, that the two of them observed a streaking object come into their field of view.

They were both facing west, as was I, when from their peripheral vision to their right, the object, apparently traveling east to west, caught their attention. They said the object was a fiery white in color, traveling parallel to the ground, and was between us and the Catalina Mountains. (The Catalinas are approximately one half mile North of our home and where we were standing. The Catalinas rise approx. 2900 feet above the valley floor, and my wife said that it was well below the tops of the mountain.

They went on to say that the object streaked toward the larger object (which was now disappearing). I asked them this question later if it was possible that it “merged” with the larger object, and they stated that it may have because that this smaller object streaked directly toward the larger one and also disappeared in the same general area.

The object appears to have corrected its flight path from when first viewed to the point that it turned northwest as I believe I-10 makes the same course adjustments. I believe the object was certainly following and flying directly above I-10, turning as I-10 turned, but I'm not completely sure of this.

I could not estimate its speed, but it was not flying very quickly, but I would guess that if these were in fact helicopters, it would appear to be about the same speed as a helicopter at that distance. There was no sound.

We contacted a nearby neighbor (too late for him to see it), but as we talked in the driveway he related to me that during a ball game this evening, the crowds were witnessing many strange lights in the night skies, he didn't elaborate.

Bright Orange Lights Seen In The Sky South Of Phoenix Arizona

Time:  8:40 p.m.

Dear Mr. Brian Vike, I witnessed along with additional eyewitnesses, very bright orange lights that twinkled or sparkled, but a strong orange color like some street lights, south of Phoenix, Arizona last night (February 10, 2015 at 8:40 p.m.).

I saw one, got another eyewitness, then a cluster of 3 or 4 also appeared nearby the original orange light, but shortly disappeared after remaining visible for about a minute.

This is similar to another encounter we had a few months ago, but that event included a much longer and closer encounter, south of Phoenix, specifically south of Pecos Road.

I've had another encounter, years ago, but this was east near Four Peaks area. Color was the same, but movements and abilities were different, in the older encounter northeast of phoenix.

25 To 30 Plus Orange Lights Seen In The Sky Over Scottsdale And Paradise Valley Arizona

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My girlfriend and I were driving east on Shea Blvd and I spotted maybe 10 orange lights in the sky over Scottsdale. It was an unusual cluster of orange lights that at first looked like planes lined up one after the other as if on a flight path.

However, more just kept coming and they were no longer in lined up formation. In fact they were popping up in random spots that were spreading out in no particular pattern but they were moving.

The lights were orange and not white as plane lights would be. There were no blinking lights to indicate they were landing lights or planes. The lights were just bright orange colored. They kept coming and looked like they were surfacing out of nowhere or from the ground, but they were not coming from the ground over east Scottsdale.

One after another and multiples just kept showing up. They went upward and seemed to be traveling towards us in a westerly direction and also straight up. They clustered, they lined up, they went up in pairs and crossed as if touching then separated and would vanish slowly. It was as if they were playing.

We had pulled over to watch them and a family came out of their house and watched them with us. Finally we got in the car and drove east less than a mile and pulled over again into a cul-de-sac facing south over Paradise Valley.

We watched them continuously surface and start traveling right in front of us one after another. We thought they might come right to us but as they past us they would shoot off into the distance in a way that seemed to be a slow fade but in actuality they seemed to be traveling a long distance at a very rapid speed.

We know for sure they were not planes of any kind as their lights stayed consistent no matter how close or far they were from us or what direction they traveled.
We thought someone must have been releasing them like balloons, but it was not possible. There was also No Wind which would have made them move as they did. These were not balloons.

They traveled in purposeful directions with intent and as they passed right in front of us one after another, over the dark hills of Paradise Valley, it was clearly evident they knew what they were doing and purposefully showed their presence.

There was no sound and they were not from this planet.
 Every one of them had a bright orange flare look to them and every one of them was consistent in color and brightness until they faded away. They all faded away in the same manner with a trickling of light as they seemed to rapidly disappear into the far distance.

This lasted around 20 minutes and we don't know how long they were in the sky before we saw them. But we watched until there were no more. We never thought to count but there had to be somewhere around 30-50 of them over the 20 some minute span we watched.

This event totally reminded me of the 1997 Lights Over Phoenix Incident; however, this was of a magnitude that blows that event out of the water!!

There is no doubt in my mind what we saw and funny thing is, we captured at least one on film but most of them would not show up on our phone cameras despite how bright they were. It was the strangest thing but we documented it.

Brian, it was last night, Saturday, February 16, 2013.

We left my house about 11:00 p.m. and feel it must have lasted at least 20 minutes if not more. 

I left my report on your site because it was the first choice on Google and already had reports of sightings in Spokane, WA, that told of almost the identical experience we had and it had happened just a few hours before on the same night . 

I have seen lots of sightings over the years and have interesting stories, but this was the most unimaginable and closest encounter ever. 

To see so many Orbs and have them moving in the sky in a way that came at us and continually passed by us, was mind blowing and definite confirmation we are not alone. 

I'm just grateful I wasn't alone for this experience and we were not physically affected.

Round Silent Orange Object Appeared To Be On Fire Seen Over Phoenix Arizona

Time:  Evening.

My husband and I were out on our nightly walk with our dog. The bottom of the moon was brightly lit with some haze around it and in the shape of a smile. Suddenly my husband stopped and said, "what is that"?

Appearing low in the sky was an orangey round object flying southwesterly at a constant rate of speed, but silently. It appeared to be on fire.

We watched as it moved across the sky before our eyes, both of us mesmerized by the sight and baffled how it looked to be a ball of fire yet smoothly moving evenly in a southward direction.

As soon as we came home we checked the news for any local reports of this sighting, and checked out Google and saw similar reports dated as recently as one hour before in the state of Washington! Absolutely amazing!

Orange Lights And Jet Fighters In The Sky Over Vistancia Arizona

Time:  Approx: 7:45 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Good evening, I never thought I would write something like this. Driving home this evening on the north 303 I saw some orange globes/lights hovering in the southeast valley.

We live on the far north side, and when I got home, grabbed my binoculars and watch the lights for a few seconds, then they just disappeared. I told my wife, we walked outside and they appeared again, just more of them.

We watched them appear for around five minutes, then reappear in different groups. It was unbelievable. After about 40 minutes, we could hear the military fighter planes overhead and headed in the direction.

Then the lights disappeared. This was all in the last hour or so, and I would not believe it if I did not see it myself. It is 8:40 now, and this was all in the last hour or so. They seemed to disappear when the planes arrived.

Additional Information:
The below follow-up was done by a fellow who is helping me out. It is greatly appreciated.
Good Morning, we live in Vistancia, which is north of Sun City West in the Lake Pleasant area. Very hard to estimate the height from our angle, but I will include a daylight picture of the mountain (which you can vaguely see in the background on the videos) and this will give a better point of reference. 

This was approximately 7:45 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on  January 16th, 2013 so it was very cold, very clear and very still. We have fighter planes fly over our home on maneuvers all the time, so we are familiar with both the sound and the visual aspects of the planes. 
 

We saw/heard approximately 7 about 45 minutes after watching the lights. My sister lives at 55th Ave., and Happy Valley, and she mentioned something the next day, unsolicited from me, about how she thought something crazy was happening because of all the military planes flying over her home around 8:45 pm. 

Additionally, my wife works with a lady who mentioned the same behavior. She grew up on a base and talked about the jets 'scrambling' very quickly that evening which aroused her interest (enough to say something to my wife, again unsolicited). 

We have seen a couple of videos on YouTube from the same evening that document exactly what we saw.  My video is fairly blurry, but you can defiantly get an idea of what was there. Here are the links:

On the second video, you can see the two separate lights. Sometimes there were as many ad 5, all in a line, equally spaced apart, at a slight angle. When the planes arrived, there were around 7 lights, in both a vertical and horizontal pattern, then disappeared. 

The third video I added magnification which is why the resolution is poor.

I have been into astronomy for 15 years, and am very familiar with placement of the evening sky and nighttime light anomalies, This was certainly different from anything I have ever seen,  You cannot see the planes in the video (too small) but in comparison size wise the fighter planes were pinhole size, and the orange formations  were pin head size.

Lights In The Sky – UFOs Above Goodyear And Waddell Arizona (Pictures)

Time:  Approx: 8:00 p.m.

While driving home from Fry's (on Sarival and Yuma Rd) after work around 8:00 p.m., headed southbound on Canyon Trails (167th Ave) coming towards Lower Buckeye, I saw 4 goldish colored bright lights in a line blinking and hovering slowly in the sky. 

They appeared to be only a few miles away, maybe twice as high as the street lights and slowly moving southwest bound.

As I got closer to Lower Buckeye and 167th Ave, my fiancé called me to see what I was doing (because I wasn't home from work yet) and I told her I was looking at some very strange lights in the sky, driving towards them and I wanted to get a closer look to figure out what they were. 

She then told me that her father and his girlfriend who live in Waddell (In Cortessa which is around 187th Ave and Olive, near the white tanks), just got off the phone with her and said they saw similar lights in the sky about half an hour before I did, near their home.

They were just as excited as I was, and they got pictures of it.

This was seeming more and more strange to me, especially since my fiancé was telling me this while I was still chasing these lights in my truck.

She asked me where the lights were, and I told her southwest of our house and I would call her back.  

I stopped and got out of my truck in the middle of the road, just slightly west of 167th Ave on Lower Buckeye Rd and started to take pictures of what I was seeing with my phone.

I would have kept driving closer if I could, but they appeared to be fading, and the 4th light to the right of the line disappeared. 

A young man and woman in a newer model car pulled up next to me and the young man got out of the car and said they were chasing the lights as well.

An older woman then pulled up in an older sedan and said, "at least I know I'm not crazy, because I can see other people are seeing this too!"  

A 4th car pulled up next to our group, but no one got out of the vehicle. The 3rd light to the right of the line of lights then faded out and this was when I got the best picture I could with my phone.

I thought the picture was only going to have 2 lights in it, but it ended up having 3. 

At this point myself and 3 other people were all staring at these lights in the sky. The 2 lights that were left both faded out at the same time. All of this happened in probably less than 5 minutes. 

We all got back in our cars. As the other cars drove away, I saw 3 lights appear again, still slowly hovering further away south bound towards the Estrella mountains. I again tried to follow them, southbound towards Estrella on Cotton ln. 

My fiancé called me again and told me that after she talked to me on phone she got in the car and started driving southwest of our neighborhood with my 6 year old son and my 11 year old daughter and they saw the lights as well. 

I tried to chase the lights as far as I could and ended up driving a few miles south of the town of Estrella on Arlington Rd when I lost track of them. My fiancé said at one point they were driving behind me on Cotton Lane and I didn't even realize it.

My fiancé and I drove home. I called her father and he said they saw 7 lights in the sky near the White Tank mountains. He said slowly they turned into 4, then 3, than 2, and 1.  

They got some pretty good pictures with their high quality camera, which he sent to me. I sent them mine which only 2 of them came out somewhat okay with my Motorola Droid Razor phone.

The next morning (January 17th, 2013), News Channel 3 had a segment on Good Morning Arizona, where they said alot of people in Surprise, AZ reported similar sightings of strange lights in the sky, and someone sent in a video of the lights that they also showed in the segment.

They also said that they contacted a military rep who stated that there was a very good explanation for the strange lights witnesses saw in the sky, but they can't say why because that information happens to be top secret.

Orange/Red Fireballs Seen Flying Over Maricopa Arizona

I too have seen these mysterious orange/red lights (fireballs as I described to my husband), Maricopa, AZ., Southwest 12 of Phoenix, AZ. 

Seeing a total of 5 all ending in a straight formation line east to west. I did see 2 appear from the west while the others had been in the air already.

This was all shortly after midnight 1/1/13 AZ time.

Lights Spotted Flying Over Gila River Indian Reservation Arizona

Time:  Evening.

Seen the lights last night. Started off with just 3 over the Gila River Indian Reservation. Then they started to move towards Maricopa.

I was driving from Sacaton to Maricopa and they seemed to be moving slower than a jet or airplane, but faster than I was driving, which was about 60 mph.

Three at first, then three appeared below as the 3 on top vanished. Then they changed the pattern as they were over Maricopa.

Bright Orange Colored Objects/Lights In The Sky Over South Phoenix Arizona

Date:  January 15, 2013 and January 16, 2013
Time:  Approx: 7:00 p.m.

Okay, so while driving home Tuesday night 1/15/13 I saw 3 large bright orange lights floating in the night sky south of the 1-10. I was driving west on the I-10 just after 7:00 p.m. that night and noticed the lights south of me when I was approaching the 303 freeway construction.

I continued to check on them as I was driving and saw one slowly blink out, I lost sight of them behind a freeway noise barrier wall.

After I passed the wall the remaining two lights were gone, when I drove under the Verrado Way bridge I saw all three lights again this time much farther west of there original position.

I saw the same lights last night, 1/16/13, on my drive home at just after 7:00 p.m., again I noticed them right when I was getting close to the 303 freeway construction, this time there were four light, same color, same size, floating over the mountains south of me.

I continued to watch them. Watched the one on the west end blink out the a minute or so later the one on the east blink out leaving again two. Lost them behind the same wall.

They reappeared again right when I was getting past the same bridge. This time one then all four, again west of their original position.

At first I thought they could be on the mountains, but when I compared where they had been at night to the mountains in the day, they were definitely higher and they appeared in a straight horizontal line.

I'm no aircraft expert, but I did serve 4 years in the Navy and received aircraft identification training. These lights were very bright and large at a great distance, must have been much bigger up close. I will be looking for them again tonight.

Orange Lights Observed In The Sky Over Queen Creek Arizona

Hi, I witnessed a sighting at 7:43 p.m. in Queen Creek, Arizona. I was heading home when I saw this and these lights were pretty low.

At first I thought what I saw was rodeo lights, but normally they are white not orange colored and these had three orange glowing balls of light, then one went out and another until the last one went out.

I was not the only one that seen this, my daughter was in passenger seat seeing this object too. We both were kind of freaked out a little.

Orange/Red Lights Being Seen In The Sky Over Two Night At Maricopa County Arizona

Date:  January 14 and 15, 2013
Time:  Approx: 8:30 p.m.

Hi Brian, the past two nights my parents and I have noticed these orange/red lights in the sky at about 8:30 p.m. both nights.

They appear as duos, blink for a while, fade away and then reappear in a different formation. This happens for about 10 minutes or so until they fade away completely.

They look like they are over Maricopa, but it's hard to say for sure. I have pictures and my mom took a video.

Observed Orange Lights Low In The Sky Over Phoenix Arizona

Date:  January 15, 2013
Time:  Approx: 8:00 p.m. – 9 :00 p.m.

Observed orange lights over Phoenix area, 1/15/13 approximately 8:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. and seen by two of us, watching from our backyard in the San Tan Valley.

Lights appeared low in the sky, toward the northwest of us, which would place them in the south Phoenix, north Chandler area.

5 Bright Red/Orange Colored Lights In The Sky Over San Tan Valley/Queen Creek Area Arizona

Time:  Evening.

The wife and I were taking out the trash when she noticed 5 bright red/orange orbs in the sky headed southeast. We live in San Tan Valley/Queen Creek area in Arizona and it was amazing to see.

Three of them were in a huge triangle formation and two of them trailing behind. Then they just vanished one by one after a few minutes of watching them.

Large Cluster Of 100 Orange Colored Lights Seen In The Sky From West Phoenix Arizona

Date:  January 12, 2013
Time:  Around 9:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Big cluster of orange colored lights coming from low in the western sky below the crescent moon last night in West Phoenix.

They seem to come upward, then turn right heading in the direction south, then fade out. There must have been over 100 of them it lasted about 10 minutes this was around 9:30 to 10:00 on 1-12-13.

Amber Colored Lights In The Sky Over Northeast Tucson Arizona

Date:  January 1, 2013
Time:  Approx: 1:00 a.m.

Brian, my wife and I went outside last night at midnight to see if any neighbors were setting off fireworks to celebrate the start of 2013. What we saw instead was incredible. A bright, solid amber ball, almost hovering, began to move across the sky from south to north. 

It moved very slowly and at an altitude much lower than a normal air plane would travel. Within a couple of minutes, two more similar light appeared and made a loose triangular pattern. 

They continued north slowly but the balls traveled at different speeds because the triangle began to lose its shape.  Eventually, the lights seemed to go straight up into the sky because they became dimmer and dimmer until they disappeared. 

After a minute or two, the three balls reappeared close to the mountains near Reddington Pass in the far northeast part of the city. 

At this point, they were about 5 miles away from me and they seemed even lower to the ground. After about a minute, the three rose into the sky until they disappeared again.

My wife and I were positive that we would see something about this on the news today or see an internet posting but there is nothing.  She and I are positive that this was not an airplane or helicopter.

The balls moved too slowly and made no noise at all. Oddly, 30 minutes or so after the sighting, several helicopters did fly over our house in the direction where we last saw the lights, this was probably around 1:00 a.m.

Please let me know if you've heard of any other sighting in Tucson last night. The fact that I can find no other accounts of this activity has me baffled. By the way, my wife and I did not imbibe on this New Years Eve, so we were completely sober during this incident.

Red/Orange Colored Lights Seen Over The Phoenix Sky Harbor Arizona

Date:  January 1, 2013
Time:  After midnight.

My wife, 2 sons and myself were outside shortly after midnight on 1/1/2013 setting off fireworks. My oldest boy saw an orange light in the sky and alerted us.

We all saw the exact same thing, red/orange orbs rising into the sky from the direction of Phoenix Sky Harbor airport, one after the next, then changing to solid orange and scooting back and forth through the sky for 1-2 minutes until they faded out, then another rose into the air and moved in a different direction.

This happened at least 3 times until it stopped, not sure how long it was happening before we went outside and noticed.

They were very bright, stopped in mid-flight and changed direction (certainly not the airplanes we see normally) then continued on in another direction.

I will upload what I caught on HD video to YouTube soon,hopefully the video turned out. We were all a little spooked.

Orange Lights Seen In The Sky Over Phoenix Arizona

Date:  December 31, 2012
Time:  8:30 p.m.

Moved from south, arced east toward Scottsdale, orange round light, no sound, no blinking. 20 in number some single, some in groups of 3-5 moving at steady speed. This lasted 10-12 minutes.

Two witness including myself. No other aircraft perusing or in area. Couldn't judge distance, but would guess 200-300 mph possibly.

3 Red Lights In The Sky Over Guadalupe Arizona

Time:  Evening.

Hi, I came across a website well doing a Google search about some lights I seen last night. My name is (named removed) I live in Guadalupe, Arizona and last night I was outside my house with my family and I seen 3 red lights up in the sky (east).

They formed a  upside down triangle and mind you I only had a small portion of the sky that I could see from where I was sitting.

So I got up and walked to a spot in my yard where I could see more of the sky and as I did that the lights were fading away one at a time. Anyway http://unitedstatesufo.blogspot.com/ is the website that I seen your email address so well that’s what I seen.

Two Red Balls Of Light Over Maricopa Arizona

I saw two reddish balls of light last night in Maricopa at around 8:30 p.m. They seemed to pulse rapidly but never moved until after about 5 minutes and then they vanished.
