Continuing from my post on December 23, 2015 entitled “A Beautiful Place To Visit Or Make it Your Home In Hope British Columbia” and the posting of a number of wooden sculptures pictures, I wanted to add the rest of the photos I have of the wooden sculptures.
So what I have done is to place information about the Hope Slide with some of the sights I saw and filmed around Hope in early November 2015.

Beautiful Wooden Sculptures And A Great Place To Visit Hope British Columbia (13 - Pictures)

The district of Hope is an amazing place to visit. First of all, Hope, B.C. is the gateway to pretty much all of British Columbia.
Hope has a population of approximately 6,170 residents and is located in the Cascade Mountain range, which makes for a very scenic place to visit, or a wonderful place to call home. Hope, British Columbia
On our journey around Hope in November 2015 we seen the most beautiful wooden sculptures which were carved with a chain-saw by Hope’s local artist Peter Ryan. The wooden sculptures were seen all throughout the town.
There are so many different things to see which made it hard to visit them all, but I certainly will return in 2016 to visit all that Hope has to offer.

Travel British Columbia With Brian Vike
Above Photo: I took this photo from a moving Greyhound bus after visiting my Dad in Langley, B.C. I saw the lake somewhere in-between Clinton and 100 Mile House, British Columbia in 2015.
Brian Vike will be traveling around this great province of British Columbia, checking out the sights, accommodations, food, charters, camping areas, etc., and bringing you my thoughts on the places I have visited.

I started my travel blog in mid July 2015, and I have lots to add, plus with winter not being all that far off, it will give me lots to do for the 5 months of cool weather we have in northern British Columbia.

UFO Dull Silver In Color With Windows Hovered Above Our Camping Tent
Date: About 10/15 years ago
Time: NightI was about 10-14 years old when this happened. I was having a sleep over one night. Had two friends over. We decided to take our sleeping bags outside and have a sleep over on the lawn.
One of my friends decides she's thirsty and goes in to get herself and us orange sodas. My other friend and I stayed outside. We were laying in our sleeping bags talking to each other when at the same time, we both noticed something directly above us hovering.
We look up casually, and what we saw was remarkable. It was a UFO. No doubt in my mind. It was huge. Bigger than the size of a baseball field. It’s shape was so weird. Wasn't any shape I've seen before.
I forget how many sides it had, but there was a few. We saw lights and windows, and even where the metal pieces were put together to make the ship one. It was dull silver. And hovered over us about 200 feet up (if that).
We starred at it for a good 10 seconds before we examined it enough to realize what it was. We looked at each other and screamed. Mine barley came out because I was so terrified and we hide under our covers.
It felt like eternity hiding under those covers, but when we eventually looked to see if it were still there, and it wasn't anywhere in sight we ran inside. We told our other friend and my mother what happened.
Neither believing us, but we knew what we saw and drew dozens of pictures of it the rest of the night. I wish I still had those drawings.
