Brilliant Flash Lights Up The Entire Area In A Teal/Blue Light Over Elizabethtown Kentucky

Date:  November 8, 2012
Time:  Between 4:30 a.m. - 5:00 a.m.

I seen the same thing this morning between 4:30 a.m. - 5:00 a.m. in Elizabethtown KY, standing in the back door drinking coffee there was a flash of light, almost like an explosion or lightning, but silent.

The sky went from pitch black to almost teal/light bluish color for a few seconds.

Confused and amazed, but mostly scared I woke my husband who is an army vet and worked on the range here in Etown, wondering if he knew of anything it could have been, but no luck, he poked fun at me and went back to bed.

It's been an hour now and the area it covered seems to be a lot brighter than the rest of the sky, ever figure out what this was?

5 Orange Glowing Lights Over Elizabethtown New York (Chinese/Wish Lanterns)

Time:  Approx: 10:30 p.m.

Hello, I saw five total orange glowing entities in the sky on Sunday 8/5 while in Elizabethtown, NY.  This was probably around 10:30 p.m. or so over the course of a half hour or so. 

I have video. Never seen anything like it.

Additional Information:
My Dad, who witnessed the globes as well checked with a neighbor on Tuesday. The neighbor stated that his adult kids were lighting off little balloons that burn and hover. Some sort of new quasi-firework supposedly.

Large Red Light Spotted Flying Over Close To Elizabethtown Kentucky

Time:  Between 10:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.

I live in Kentucky, and had the same thing happen on the 29th of this month between 10-12 a.m. This was seen by my and my two friends, we ran to get another group of friends inside, but they tried saying it looked like a paper lantern.

I have seen many reports of this as I decided to look up on it the next day. Turns out many surrounding states, and even another country has had this happen.

It was slow moving, in a straight line, red light, sort of flickered a bit, looked large, but just disappeared, and not as in we watched it fly off, it was just gone.
