Bright Teal Flash Seen In The Sky Over New York USA

Date:  November 28, 2012
Time:  6:00 p.m.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was driving northbound on I-684 on my way home from work on Wednesday 11/28/12, a drive I take everyday for the past 10+ years.

As I passed exit 4, I witnessed a teal flash of light to my left. I believe it flashed only once. It was not a spotlight. It was not a plane. From the view driving in my car, the green/blue/teal flash took up the entire left side of the sky.

It was not raining. There was no fog to reflect any kind of light. There is an airport at exit 2, but I was well past that point so I would not be seeing a light from the towers.

It's wintertime, so it could not be heat lightning, though if the color in the sky was more white than teal, and if it was the summertime, that would be what the light most resembled, and that's probably what I would have thought it was, if it was summer.

Brilliant Flash Lights Up The Entire Area In A Teal/Blue Light Over Elizabethtown Kentucky

Date:  November 8, 2012
Time:  Between 4:30 a.m. - 5:00 a.m.

I seen the same thing this morning between 4:30 a.m. - 5:00 a.m. in Elizabethtown KY, standing in the back door drinking coffee there was a flash of light, almost like an explosion or lightning, but silent.

The sky went from pitch black to almost teal/light bluish color for a few seconds.

Confused and amazed, but mostly scared I woke my husband who is an army vet and worked on the range here in Etown, wondering if he knew of anything it could have been, but no luck, he poked fun at me and went back to bed.

It's been an hour now and the area it covered seems to be a lot brighter than the rest of the sky, ever figure out what this was?

Object Was Deep Teal In Color And Flew Over Unionville Tennessee

Time:  Approx: 6:10 a.m.

Around 6:10 a.m. in Unionville, Tennessee, on October 30, 2012 I was driving to work and while looking up at the moon while at a stop sign I saw a bright bluish green ball of light travel from west to east.

It had the behavior of a meteorite, but it moved much too slow and had no trail or tail.

It was very fast, but not as fast as a meteorite.

It's size from the ground was the same as if you held a small marble out at arms length.

It was brighter than the moon and was a deep teal color.

Sky Lit Up A Teal Color Over Sydney Australia

Time:  Around midnight.

Hi there, I've been trying to find out the source to the the glowing haze I witnessed tonight and came across your site. It says to email if there is any further occurrences.

My name is (name removed), and I when I was driving home at approximately midnight Sydney time, the sky lit up in the most beautiful teal colour.

Then it went, and for another 5 seconds or so, it lit up again. I waited outside looking in the general direction of the glow and it never happened again. It was like sheet lighting, and spread in a concave shape.

Blue/Teal Colored Flash In The Sky Over Queens New York

Time:  Approx: 3:00 a.m.

I live in on the border of queens by by JFK Airport and I got home late from a concert and I was in my backyard when I saw a flash. I grew up next to this airport and I'm 25 I've never seen something so bright before with no explanation.

It was a blue/teal flash that occurred a couple times giving of an illusion of daylight. There were no planes in the air due to Cloud cover. I also used to work for the US army parachute team, nothing I can think of can cause that light I had Goosebumps for about 30 minutes after the event.

Teal And Green Flashing Lights In The Sky Over Victor New York

Time:  Approx: 3:00 a.m.

I just witnessed the same thing. Teal and green flashing lights in the sky at about 3:00 a.m. in Victor, New York. Flashed teal, flash, flash, flash, then green. Three times, then an orange twice, then teal again.

I couldn't hear a humming noise as it was raining. No thunder at all. The rain had let up for a moment before the flashing, then it came down again after it stopped.

I waited for it to happen again, but it did not. It was just behind the tree line and we are up on a hill looking into a Basin area. Strange.

Additional Information:
I just went back outside and the whole sky is lighting up teals, greens and purples. It stopped for a moment and a cloud of mist moved in very fast.

I could see it coming over the building I'm at and down over the Basin area for about 2 minutes, then I could see the back end of the cloud as it hurried away. Weird things happening tonight!
