20 To 25 Orange Lights Over Fredericksburg Virginia

Time:  Evening.

Mr. Vike, my wife and I saw these lights that night as we were coming out of a restaurant. Instead of the 7-8 that were referenced on your site, though, the number we saw was probably closer to the 20-25 range. 

As we were alone outside the restaurant, away from any ambient street noise, we were able to distinctly hear the tell-tale "whump-whump-whump" of helicopter rotors. The sounds were faint, but definitely there. 

I admit that the string of orange lights was definitely "different", and absent hearing the rotor noise would have seemed strange indeed. Having spent 20 years in the Army, and hearing more than my fair share of helicopters, I have no doubt that the lights in question were, indeed, helicopters. 

But, as I jokingly remarked to my wife that evening, the big question is how were the aliens able to steal that many helicopters?

6 Bright Orange Lights Seen Flying Over Fredericksburg Virginia

Time:  7:16 p.m.

Dear Brian Vike, I also saw 6 bright orange lights over Fredericksburg on October 15, 2012  It was at 7:16 p.m. and I was standing in the parking lot of the Colonial Tavern on Lafayette Blvd. 

I'm glad I came across your (a different witness) account as nobody else in the parking lot seemed to notice anything.

I didn't point out the lights as I was talking on my cell phone and I tried to take a photo, but the lights disappeared off to the south and the taller buildings in the downtown area blocked my view.

The first 3 lights were in a nearly straight line with the middle one slightly higher than the others. The second set of three were much closer together and in a triangle formation.

7 To 8 Orange/Yellow Lights In The Sky Over Fredericksburg Virginia

I saw about 7-8 orange-yellow warm lights over Fredericksburg, VA last night (13 October 2012 at 2200).
