3 Orange Lights In The Sky Outside Of Leduc Alberta

Date:  October 2014
Time:  Evening.

I was driving from my moms with my kids in October, I turned left at Beaumont intersection and headed down 814.

As we were passing BMR gardens we seen 3 orange light moving up and down and fast rate of speed, as we got to Rollyview corner to head right into Leduc.

They were moving in all sorts of directions, not possible for aircraft or helicopter. It freaked us out so bad.

As we got closer to Leduc they disappeared, however, there were numerous planes that were circling instead of landing. When we got into South Park an orange light zipped over us and took off.

Needless to say we went inside and locked the doors! Later that night I woke up and it sounded like a jet engine hovering above out house.

I didn't look outside, and to this day every once in awhile I wake up to the same sound.

I live on a flight path to Edmonton International Airport, and it sounds nothing like the normal aircraft noise, and only started happening after the night we saw the 3 orange lights.

Thank you to the eyewitness for their report.

UFO Looked Rectangular No Lights And Silent Seen Over Leduc Alberta

Date:  March 23, 2015
Time:  Approximately 12:15 a.m.

So I saw something this past weekend and I cannot explain it. I came across your website while searching for similar sightings. Here is my account:

Monday March 23, 2015 approximately 12:15 a.m. (Sunday night). I took the dogs out to pee out the front door of our home in Leduc, AB, on the eastern edge of town.

I stood at the corner of our house and attached garage and looked up at the stars, while I waited.

Fairly clear night, the big dipper was perfectly centered in my line of sight between the house and front yard spruce trees. The sky was quite bright, light pollution and possibly slightly overcast.

As I gazed at the stars, something came in to my field of vision. It flew directly over our house from the West. As soon as I picked it up in my peripheral vision, I stared directly at it. It was moving very fast, but not unearthly fast.

It looked to be about 2,000-3,000 feet up. Difficult to say. Its trajectory was such that I could track it from above my house across the sky in front of our spruce trees. It looked rectangular in shape, no lights. Silent, or extremely quite.

Whatever its altitude, I could not hear any sound from it. Could not see wings or any obvious propulsion. It is difficult to come up with an accurate size, if it was indeed in the 2000' range, it looked to be the approximately size of a car. Maybe 15-20' long and 6-8' wide? Two lighter colored, maybe white, strips running the length of the object. One on each side.

Keeping with the approximately dimensions, maybe 1-2 feet wide, running the length of the object on the left and right hand side. Majority color was like a dark brown/rust color.

As it flew away from me towards the east, it seemed to veer slightly north as it, ironically, approached the flight path of one of the Edmonton Int'l airport runways. I lost sight at this point, blinded by the street lights and light pollution of the surrounding area. I could not see any of the shape vertically.

Seemed to be relatively flat, low profile. In total, I had a direct visual for approximately 5 seconds. Can't explain it.

Thought maybe some kind of UAV or drone, but no lights at night flying that close to an international airport and at that low of an altitude? And definitely did not see any kind of wings or propulsion system. I work in aviation and have not seen anything like it. It was a little eerie seeing something in the sky moving that fast and no sound coming from it.

Thank you to the witness for their report.

Two Unknown Objects/Lights Split Up Then Appear And Disappear In The Sky Over Leduc Alberta (Picture)

Date:  February 7, 2015
Time:  Late evening.

Saw this in the sky tonight near Leduc Alberta, very similar to your internet posting from October 6, 2012.

There was two side by side, then split up, but just hovering with no noise.

They appeared then disappear then reappear, very weird.

Bright Orange Light In The Sky Over Leduc Alberta

Date:  October 6, 2012
Time:  Approx: 8:15 p.m.

Hi there, last night, Saturday, October 6, 2012, I was driving my sister and my nephew home after our Thanksgiving dinner at about 8:15 p.m.

My nephew, who is 5, asked what the bright orange light was that was just sitting in one spot in the sky.

It looked like it was either coming straight toward us or staying in one spot, then it moved to the east a bit, then it looked like it slowly went back into the sky and then just disappeared.

We thought maybe it disappeared behind some clouds, but there weren't any clouds, we could see all the stars!

Two minutes later when we got to my sister's place, it reappeared, but this time it was closer and moving northeast across the sky very slowly and it was definitely a circle shape.

It was round with one brighter light on the outer edge of the circle that was rotating around. The very centre of the object was dark, so it looked like a donut.

We told my nephew it was probably a hot air balloon to not scare him and sent him inside. Needless to say, we were pretty freaked out.

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

Dark Orange Object Changed To Red In Color Over Leduc Alberta

Date:  August 11/12 2012
Time:  Around midnight.

Hi there, I'm responding to a post: http://the-v-factor-paranormal-2.blogspot.ca/2012/07/dark-orange-light-turned-red-in-night.html

You requested that anyone seeing this in the same area, please contact you.

It was around midnight on August 11/12. I was standing at the window in the guestroom, on the second floor of our house, looking out to see if I could spot any meteors, and I did.

I also spotted something very odd. At first, I thought it was a plane, but realized that it couldn't be. It was about 2-3 times larger than any of the planes I've seen and it was dark orange, then dimmed and went dark red.

I watched it for about 45 seconds, and it completed that same pattern, turning dark orange, then red a few times. I did not see any other colors. I yelled for my husband, but then it was just "gone".

It went from a large, round ball to a tiny pinpoint, then just disappeared within just a few seconds.

It could have been a plane, but it didn't look (or act) like any I've ever seen, and we don't live far from the airport, so I've seen many! Our home (and the guestroom I was watching out of) face north.

The ball of light was out to the west and was traveling from north to south. Have a great day :)

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.
