Red Light/Object In The Sky Over Mount Carmel Schagen West Of Nelspruit South Africa

Saw red light over Mount Carmel earlier.

Hi, Mount Carmel at Schagen West of Nelspruit towards Jhb.

Hi, it was last night. (Thursday 5 February) at about 20:00). I'm not sure about the time.

From our veranda here on the farm, I looked at Mount Carmel to the west and saw a red light just lower than the tall tower light that is at the top of the mountain.

My hubby said it must be a Vodacom tower, but after a few minutes, it disappeared.

It could not have been a Vodacom tower light then, hey?

Bright White Object Seen Over Mount Boucherie West Kelowna British Columbia

Time:  Approx: 4:45 p.m.

Hey I saw a bright object in the sky about a week ago in Kelowna, British Columbia over the mountains on the west side. What I saw was a bright glare that got bigger and smaller over a few minutes and eventually it disappeared, not gradually either. I guess there was a bit of media coverage on it as well. Interesting stuff!

Additional Information:

I saw the object on the 1st or 2nd of March around 4:45 p.m. It appeared to be white/bright as sun and it may have been reflecting light off it. At the time I was walking down the water front of east Kelowna and while the object was over Mount Boucherie West Kelowna maybe further in distance.

I had been watching it for a total of 5 minutes before it disappeared. While watching it there was no sign of real direction in which it was traveling. I just saw it get smaller then larger. It was sunny and the sun was setting.

It was definitely lower than a satellite. As for the news coverage, my roommate had told me about something regarding 3 objects around the same time as mine on Castanet. I looked for it and found nothing.

Bright Blue Light In The Sky Seen Over Mount Pocono Pennsylvania

Time:  Late evening.

I just came in from walking my dog. I’m located in Mt Pocono PA. About 22 minutes ago as my dog and I were walking down the road, there was an extremely bright bluish light from behind me.
 
I got the feeling of a possible flair, but there was no sound. Immediately I froze dropped to the ground and waited for a sound. But there was nothing.

Something that was that powerful to make such a bright light and be that close should have made a sound. But there was no sound and no wind. Can you explain what I saw or experienced?

Unknown Lights Drop Down Below Tree Line And Raise Up Again Over Mount Airy North Carolina

Hi Mr. Vike, my name is (name removed) and I have seen the same thing for the past two weeks, but last night looking toward Mount Airy and I saw six of the lights in a row hover then go down below the tree line.

They came back up, leveled out and went a little higher then vanished. I tried to take video and pictures, but I could see it through the view finder, but it all came out black.

I live in State Road.

The episode with the 6 light's was 1/18/2013 around 11:30 p.m. and no sound and nothing on the TV or newspapers about it.

6 Red/Orange Colored Lights Spotted Flying Over Mount Kisco New York

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Looking eastern sky on a very clear night, Thanksgiving night 2012, with my 15 year old daughter, I saw 3 reddish orange lights which were moving east to north. The three lights were very bright, and did not have any tail or fire sparks from them.

They were moving quite quickly in almost a triangle formation, moving higher into the sky. Then they all stopped and hung in the sky for approximately 20 seconds where they slowly disappeared. Then a second series of the same reddish orange lights came from the east and again headed in a northerly direction.

First one light appeared, moving quickly in a horizontal motion as it rose in the sky. It reached almost the same location as the first set of lights, and then hung in the sky. Then a second light appeared and made almost the same trajectory, but staying further from the first light.

Then the third light came quickly from lower on the horizon and came up in a northerly direction. The first of the lights had disappeared before the 3rd light arrived. Again, the lights hung in the sky almost in the same locations, and then dimmed out.

There were no tails, or smoke that I could see from the lights. I did not smell any smoke or hear any sounds from the sky. The time lapse was approximately 2 minutes.

The approximate distance that the lights were from the ground is very difficult to say, but they appeared to be very high in the sky.

These lights were very bright, and would be impossible to miss on such a clear night. My daughter was alarmed at the sighting.

Possible UFO Landing At Abbotsford Mount McKee Sumas British Columbia (Picture)

Time:  9:00 p.m.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Possible UFO landing at McKee mountain, Abbotsford

Date of event: October 3, 2012, at 9:00 p.m.
Duration 30 minutes.
Place: Approximately 200m to west-south from mountain’s hill with red indication lights. I was watching out of the window at the moon, when a sudden white flash of light appears at the place.

Picture Left: I have posted the picture as I received it, I did resize the photo though.

It took my attention so I kept watching.

For the next 2 or 3 minutes nothing happened, then again strong white-bluish flash wink and fade.

The hill was dark for another 5 minutes, except the red light on top. I grabbed my binoculars and camera and continued monitoring. Series of flashes and darkness followed.

By doing this it shows a little more of the area and object in question.

Through the binoculars I saw that the light is actually not one, but two and have white-bluish-pink spectrum of colors.

The lights alternated, sometimes left or right sometimes both together, their intensity is strengthened or weakened. I felt like it was trying to ignite an engine repair or something.

At most of the time the place was dark.

I took a few photos, but they are not of good quality.

During the day I can see meadow at the very same place, surrounded by trees. Best Regards!

UFO Hovers Over Mount Harry Davis Houston British Columbia (Diagram)

Time:  11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Vike Factor Note: I was working on some sighting reports when a friend called saying he had been watching a UFO for part of the day.

I thought he was pulling my leg, so I ask him about what he was seeing.

He describes seeing a metallic odd shape craft hovering what looked like over Mount Harry Davis here in Houston, B.C. Just before I hung up, I asked him if the object was still there and visible, it was.

So my wife and I jumped into the Jeep and ran up to their farm. Sure enough, he pointed out this odd looking object which was and had been hovering in the air at about 5,000 feet or so.

We brought out the binoculars and watched, not much happened. A little bit later, it "appeared that it may have been climbing in altitude, but very slowly if it was.

We finally jumped into the Jeep and drove up Mount Harry Davis to see nothing. We thought maybe the object was a bit over to the east as there were tress in places that blocked our view. After looking around, scanning the sky, nothing was seen.

We finally gave up and drove back to his farm, and where we had been watching the UFO for a long time, it was gone.

I am really stumped at this one. I thought of anything that might account for this craft/object, but nothing at all made sense.

What did we see, it was something unusual and something that may go unexplained.

I did take pictures, only to see nothing in the photo. My friend also took photos earlier in the day before I arrive, and he caught something as it does show up as a white dot. I will get these and post them tomorrow.

One thing I know for sure is, Mount Harry Davis has been a very active area for UFO sightings in the past.

I added a rough diagram of what my friend said it looked like.

3 Orange Balls Of Light Spotted Flying Over Mount Royal Road Winnipeg Manitoba

Time:  10:30 p.m.

 

Hi Brian, I just read your account of seeing an orange light on July 8, 2012 while I was searching Google for a possible explanation of our experience at approximately 10:30 this evening.

 

Like yourself, my husband, son and I live near the airport and to the east of our house can see the planes descending along the Mount Royal Road flight path.

 

Tonight the three of us saw three separate balls of orange light, to the east but, because of some cloud cover it was difficult to tell if they were only a few streets away or much further.

 

They were of a significant size so as to be easily noticed and appeared to be somewhat burning or flaming as opposed to being solid orange coloured objects. 

 

Within probably 60 to 90 seconds all three appeared to either slowly extinguish or else moved behind the clouds.  They did not reappear.

 

My son is wondering if these could have been Chinese lanterns, which can apparently be purchased at the Dollar Store.  He thinks these are lit in some fashion and rise into the sky.

I'm not sure if anyone would chance releasing any burning object during these scorching weather conditions, let alone three, yet we feel there must be some logical explanation as to what we saw.

 

Just thought you might be interested especially since you described your sighting as also being orange coloured and somewhat pyrotechnic.

Mount Royal Road is in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and it is probably the major flight path for departures and arrivals in our city.

 

After watching a few lightings of Chinese lanterns on you tube, I believe this is most likely what we saw.  However, articles on these lanterns have advised against releasing them near airports or flight paths and around trees.

 

Also, to this point, no one else has reported seeing anything unusual last night in Winnipeg.
