Witness Has UFO And Alien Encounter In The Woods At Springhill Nova Scotia

Date:  1950’s

My Uncle was in the woods back in the 1950's and saw a UFO and an actual encounter with an alien in the woods. The following year a young lady of 20 saw something similar and lived on the same street as my uncle and my mom.

It was very tall and thin and looked apparently into her window. My mom and uncle said nobody believed her and she was quite shaken up and never was the same, she eventually was placed into a mental institutions.

Nobody knows what happened to her after that. My uncle has passed on now, but my mom knows all the stories and she is a big believer of UFO's and still follows stories to this day.

I don't know why they pick this area to visit, but I can say that you are not the first and likely not the last. Lots of stories out of Springhill, Nova Scotia that really should be explored more.

Three Orange/Red Lights Seen Flying Over Amherst Nova Scotia

Time:  Around midnight.

Hello, my son saw three large glowing orbs New Years Eve in Amherst, NS around midnight when he took the dog out.

They came from West Amherst and went in a northeasterly direction. They were quiet. At first he thought they might have been fireworks, but not the way they moved.

It was in an orderly fashion, the first two were more orangey in color and the last was more red. He heard other people on the street over yelling about the phenomenon, too.

5 Orange Silent Lights Flew Over Halifax Nova Scotia

Large Orange Fiery Glowing Object Turns Dark Over Glace Bay Nova Scotia

Date:  Around August 8, 2012
Time:  Around 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Hey Brian, I saw what you were talking about, the bright orange Fireball.

It wasn't the same day as the sighting at Mira (report can be found here: http://the-v-factor-paranormal.blogspot.ca/2012/09/bright-orange-fireball-filmed-from-mira.html) it was a few days later and at around 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the evening.

My 3 year  old was at the dining room table and said, daddy look at the big star in the sky. I went over to the window and saw what looked like a large orange fireball.

It was traveling in what looked like a southeast direction coming in from Cape Smokey area, but way up in the sky.

We went outside to get a better look at it and my 12 year old and his friends were outside watching it as well. When it got close to being over Glace Bay it changed.

This is the weird part, the orange fiery glow disappeared and all we could see was a large dark round shape.

There was a thin see through cloud layer at a high altitude and the object seemed to change direction and head east out over the ocean.

You could clearly see it was above the clouds and we watched it until it disappeared out over the ocean. My sons friend turned to me and said "what the hell was that", I told him it was probably just a satellite and to go finish playing basketball.

This was no satellite though and I have no clue what it was. Compared to all the overseas jets that fly over Glace Bay this thing seemed to be about 10 to 15 times the size of a jumbo jet and we could clearly see it was at a high altitude above the clouds.

Whatever this was, it was big.

It started out looking like a ball of fire and then it was like someone turned off a light switch and the fiery glow stopped and all you could see was the large round dark shape.

I checked online to see if the ISS was flying over cause we've seen it before at night and thought it might have been light play from the evening sun, but the online tracking system didn't have the ISS anywhere near the
Maritimes at that time and the ISS isn't round.

5 Or 6 Orange Colored Balls Of Light And Something Huge In The Sky Over Lunenburg County Nova Scotia

This is the first time I have actually saw anything like what I am about to tell you, or posted anything before about it except for Facebook tonight.

I am in Nova Scotia Canada, Lunenburg county, at approximately 9:12 p.m. I saw out my window 5 or 6 orange balls going through the sky.

At first I thought someone was shooting fireworks, but within seconds I knew it wasn't.

There was very high thin clouds scattered about but none blocking my view.

I watch as these lights appeared to be going towards the upper atmosphere and then disappear and not behind a cloud. I ran to grab my camera, but only got a fading shot of one just before it disappeared.

I was amazed and bewildered at what I was seeing, after the lights disappeared I went back inside (I went out back to snap the picture I took). All this happened in a few minuets, so I went to the front door to look out and saw a shadow crossing by the moon.

It was huge compared to the half moon and it did not have any lights on it at all that I could see, again I would say it appeared the object was in the upper atmosphere as it appeared as a shadow in the clear sky.

I believe I saw this object because of the moon light and it seemed to be close to the moon.

After seeing this object I couldn't help but wonder, could it have been tracer fire I had seen chasing that object only a few minuets before? I am not sure, I only know it appeared to be that way and I did want to share this story.

No I am not drinking and I do not do drugs, but there is definitely something going on in this area tonight. I am keeping an eye on the sky but I have not seen anything since this time.

I am not sure if you want to share this story, but truth really is stranger than fiction sometimes. Honestly happened.

Bright Orange Fireball Filmed From Mira Bay Nova Scotia (Picture)

Time:  Approx: 9:30 p.m.

Hi, August 4, 2012 snapped this photo using an I Phone. Sighting occurred at approximately 9:30 p.m. standing on the shore of Mira Bay, Nova Scotia near Mira Gut. There were 9 witnesses. 

Object moved from low on the horizon east of our position, rose to an altitude of approximately 6,000 - 8,000 feet, then in level flight exited our vision to the southwest. 

Subsonic speed of maybe 300 mph, no sound, no smoke, all the while appearing to be burning actively (an orange fire ball).  Clear sky, calm winds, low humidity, unlimited visibility. 

Direction of travel roughly from Glace Bay, over the water towards Louisburg, then out to sea in a south westerly direction all the while remaining at roughly the same altitude.

Red Lights Over Sackville Nova Scotia

Time:  1:13 a.m.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone else seen 2 red lights that seemed to be connected very high up in the night sky on September 13th, 2012 1:13 a.m.
so really early morning on the 14th.

It caught my eye, and I was on Fort Needham with my dog and I'm always looking at the sky, when i seen these 2 red lights.

Fort Needham is in the north end Halifax and I seen the lights coming from the Sackville area.

I couldn't tell you how high it was up, but it seems to be higher than planes for sure and it seemed to be about a mile or so long at least.

I couldn't make out a shape because it was hazy in the sky, but when it passes stars that were bright enough it, would block them out, so I know it was a pretty big shape.

I could see it for about a minute and a half moving slowly east after moving southward.

The lights looked like stars, but totally red and a tiny bit bigger, but not much. Did anyone else see anything like this at all. I'd love to know

17 Orange Objects In The Sky Over Oak Island/Mahone Bay Nova Scotia (Chinese Lanterns)

Date:  August 10, 2012
Time:  Approx: 10:15 p.m.

Brian, my husband, myself and two neighbours watched 17 orange orbs go across the night sky this evening around 10:15 or so.

They were about 300 feet up and no sounds whatsoever. 

They were over Oak Island (we live along the coast in this area) and seemed to be in one long line heading for Chester area.

By the time I ran to get my binoculars they had disappeared. It was very odd. I don’t know where we could phone to talk about this.

My husband thought he would call the Chronicle Herald and let them know, perhaps others have seen them.

They must have seen them. This is the boating season and there is lots of activity on the water. I would expect there will be other reports. Have you heard anything? Sincerely.

Update - Additional Information:

The mystery has been solved. They were Chinese lanterns set off at Atlantica Motel, probably by a wedding party.

Bright Orange Object/Light Over Bridgewater Nova Scotia

I have seen what you said your friend saw, which was the one orange orb. I was fishing with my friends and it appeared over the tree line across the lake and was very bright.

Solid orange and moved slowly, making its way to my right, but not straight, its speed slow, but it did seem to be stopped at one point and then it shot forward, no sounds, and moved fast.

Then moved slowly and disappeared. It appeared again in the spot I originally saw it and did the same sort of motions and eventually disappeared the same as the other one.

Bright Pulsing Lights Seen Over Bear River Nova Scotia

 

Date:  June 10, 2012 and June 17, 2012

Time:  Approx: 10:15 p.m.

 

H, we are in NS on 10th June 2012 we were on Bear River about 10:15 p.m. west of Orion we watched for 25 minutes as a light far out in space pulsed between 30 and 40 seconds apart. The sky was crystal clear and there were no planes around that area in the sky. The flash was white/blue white.

To the east of the pulse there was huge white flash that then became a spec of light and travelled in an odd trajectory. About 10:45 p.m. we watched as a huge bright white (like phosphorous in water) angular shaped and low in the sky travelled toward us (this now was far west or Orion) it was travelling at a steady pace about plane speed.

 

It flashed larger and brighter and then became a dot again (like a star) and switched direction then vanished.

For the next 20 minutes or so we saw three more of these lights one of which moved side to side then pulsed bright white then shot off in the opposite direction.

Last night 17th June on the other shore of NS we watched again as a low bright white light travelling slower than a plane and diamond shaped followed a path we have never seen a aircraft take.

 

This again after a few minutes pulsed huge and white then became a dot of light and disappeared off in the opposite direction.

To the west or Orion we watched a blue white light pulse large then travel fast then stop pulse again and sit there then vanish completely.

The activity did not take place when there were any planes in the sky.

Small White Piece Broke Off Larger Green Ball In The Sky Over Northern Nova Scotia Canada

 

Date: April 19, 2012 

Time:  Approx: 9:15 p.m.

 

I saw the same thing on or about the evening of April 19, 2012 at about 9:15 p.m. I am in Northern Nova Scotia and it was in the southern sky.

 

At the last second, before it disappeared behind the tree line, a smaller piece broke away from the larger green ball. The small piece was white.
