Orange/Red Lights Spotted In The Sky Over North Merritt Island Florida

Date:  April 24, 2015
Time:  Evening.

My Mom and I just saw them. We live in North Merritt Island, Florida. I was standing on the back porch and happened to look up and I saw two glowing orange orbs floating through the sky.

One was on top of another and when I called my mom to look at them, they had moved and formed a triangle and then haut, disappeared like "poof"!

Then not even 5 seconds later two more appeared and were very bright orange/red glowing orbs that moved in the same direction as the previous ones. They didn't form a triangle though, they got dimmer and haut pretty much dissipated and disappeared.

Then all of a sudden there were about 100 planes in the sky all going towards were it happened. I live in between Patrick Air Force Base and NASA. It kind of freaked us out, so we went searching online and we found this blog.

All of your stories are the exact same as what we saw, and our cameras would not work at all. We have professional grade cannon camera’s and they wouldn't focus on anything outside.

Then after the orbs disappeared, and my mom and I came inside, they worked perfectly and I also took a picture of a tree outback. But it wouldn't work before. Has anyone else a little freaked out?

Circle Of Colored Lights Within A Circle Over Langford Southern Vancouver Island British Columbia (Pictures)

Time:  Approximately 9:55 p.m.

Canadian UFO Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: There has been some unusual sightings coming from Vancouver Island, British Columbia. If you have witnessed anything, please write with the details of what you saw.

Well tonight we saw another object, identical to the one we saw on March 8, 2015. Here is a description of time and place as well as some photos I took.

They are a bit grainy because they were taken with my small Canon Power Shot sd1200 camera, focused in at the highest focus on the object. Here are the 'finding' facts.

We had just gone out on the patio around 9:55 p.m. with the fire pit going when I glanced to the sky and saw what seemed like a huge star to the south of us, but very close to being above us (in Langford).

We watched, wondering if it was another 'object', as we'd seen before.

I got the binoculars and through them, noticed that it was a circle of coloured lights within a circle of lights in the distance, much like the ones I saw before on March 8th, of which I made a hand-drawn replica (except those other ones seemed to be white lights only).

I then pointed my camera and began shooting for the next 1/2 hour.

So I have pictures that were taken from the beginning of seeing it, to when it got bigger and brighter and stayed that way, but revolving, changing positions fast and often.

We came inside at 10:40 p.m.

I'm attaching pictures which I have cropped for your viewing, but I have also the originals if you prefer to see these too.

Triangle Of Red Lights Spotted Over Parksville Vancouver Island British Columbia

Date:  March 25, 2015
Time:  Approximately 10:00 p.m.

I saw a strange object over Parksville on Wednesday night around 10:00 p.m..

I was coming off the Inland highway from the north onto exit 51 I think it is.

Anyway it was 3 or 4 red lights. This thing was huge! Surely someone else must have seen this.

I couldn't stop to have a better look as there was a vehicle behind me.

Orange Colored Lights/Objects Seen Over Nanaimo Vancouver Island British Columbia

Date:  March 22, 2015
Time:  8:00 p.m.

I just (8:00 p.m.) saw 4 similar lights heading north west from what appeared above down town Nanaimo.

One first, then 2 together and then one solo again. They were orange, not red and seemed to be identical.

I have had many years of aviation involvement and am familiar with glide paths angles of attack, drift et al.

A few years ago I did see something similar, which was even more weird!

I also have seen Chinese lanterns, and these they were not.

 Any Ideas ?

Bright Orange/Red Colored Object Flew Over Victoria Vancouver Island British Columbia

Date:  February 28, 2015
Time:  10:30 p.m.

I wanted to share the UFO sighting we had last night at 10:30 p.m. in Victoria, British Columbia.

My cousin, best friend and I were all standing outside having a smoke chatting just off of Lampson Street by Head when my cousin looked up to the moon and said, “hey look at the UFO”.

We looked up and seen this bright orange red colored orb like disc flying towards downtown Victoria and at a very rapid pace.

We watched it go and even tried to record it, but my cousins phone was to dead to do so and before it dissipated, I ran inside and screamed UFO, at my rest of the friends inside and the three of them came running out and we were all in shock.

It lasted maybe 5 minutes or so, then it was just gone.

This is about the 7th or 8th time I’ve seen UFOs since July of last year, and this is the second time I’ve seen one with my cousin.

Any reason you can think of that they're showing themselves more often.

1949 Witness Observes UFO Make 90 Degree Turns/Hover Over Grand Island Nebraska

Time:  Evening.

Sir, I'm a real old guy (75), but I have a story to tell.

In the Fall of 1949 while a senior in high school, I attended a night football game.

I was sitting in the west bleachers facing east and at one point during the game I noticed a light in the eastern sky fairly low to the horizon.

It slowly kept rising and the first thing I thought of that it was a *mail plane*. They were flying old DC-3s for that purpose back then.

However, when it got up to about a 45 degree angle it stopped. I thought that that's odd.

After a few seconds it shot off to the north making a 90 degree angle and man it was fast.

It disappeared almost immediately. I've never forgotten this and ever since I've been a true believer in something out there.

3 Formations Of Orange Yellow Objects/Lights Observed At Sooke Vancouver Island British Columbia

Date:  February 19, 2015
Time:  Approximately 10:00 p.m.

UFOs, I just saw a group of UFOs. I was standing on our porch looking at the sky and saw these very unusual glowing orbs in the sky. I called for my wife who was upstairs in our house, she came down and saw the tail end of it. My adrenalin is going and I'm sort of in shock.  

There were 4 at first, then 3 followed and then one single one trailed. My wife saw the last 2 of the second group and the last one completely. They were glowing an orangey-yellow. I first noticed them coming up from the southeast.  They rose at about 45 degrees in no particular formation, but they stayed close together.  

They didn't seem like space crafts, they glowed an orangey-yellow.

They appeared separately a couple of minutes separating each formation. As I said, there were 3 formations. The first had 4 in it and they rose at about 45 degrees, not travelling towards me, but  continuing in the same direction.  

They began to climb straight up after about 2 minutes and then they would fade very gradually and disappear. My wife saw the last two of the 2nd formation at the very end before they faded. Then we both saw the single one come up over the horizon and then it rose up to quite a high altitude and stayed in one place for a minute or two.

Then it disappeared completely, I would say that they were not massive as it's very hard to estimate the size given the distance and they were completely round, like orangey-yellow globes travelling across the sky. We were probably a good kilometer away from them.

Their flight seemed almost like they were self propelling, moving effortlessly. They came from the direction of the ocean, but towards Victoria. I of course told my wife to come down and see the UFOs in those words. My daughter heard me shout in through the open door, but she stayed in bed.

The objects or entities were bright yellowy-orange in the beginning and maintained that brightness for a few minutes and then they faded gradually as they rose up.

As I mentioned, the last single one stayed in one place for a minute or two and then it's intensity faded slowly, then disappeared completely. There was absolutely no noise at all. Their movements were deliberate and not abrupt.  

I'm writing down all these details so I don't forget anything while it is fresh and in my memory. This occurred at approximately 10:00 p.m. on February 19, 2015.  I observed this from Sooke, British Columbia in the Sunriver development.  

I did not have anything to drink nor was I on any drugs or medication whatsoever. My visual acuity is well above normal and my profession demands of me to be a highly skilled observer.

There is no doubt this was not anything that can be explained away, it was not a series of weather balloons with lights attached or fireworks. The trajectory was very deliberate and did not resemble a balloon.  

Balloons don't stay in one spot and hover. One of them stopped rising and was static for what appeared to be several minutes. Then it just faded in intensity and disappeared.

I have a few cameras, but I was too preoccupied observing and experiencing it to think of capturing it. I was worried about being the only person who saw it, so I yelled to my wife who came down a minute or so later. She witnessed it  and saw at least 3 of them.

Red Triangular Of 8 Lights Over Parksville Vancouver Island British Columbia

Time:  Evening.

Lights in the sky. Hello my name is (Name removed). I live in mid town Parksville.

Last night I was on my balcony, I saw the red triangular lights in the sky. I questioned what I was seeing. I saw a total of 8, they just kept coming.

They seem to turn into stars. I saw one veer left, other than that they all kind of flew straight up and disappeared. I was baffled.

Glad to know I was not the only one to see them.

A Formation Of 7 UFOs Spotted In The Sky Over Hicksville Long Island New York (Written Report/Audio Interview)

Date: 1953, 54, or 55 (?)
Time: Approximately: 9:00 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Hicksville, Long Island, New York.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of objects: 7
Shape of objects: Perfectly round.

Full Description of event/sighting: Every summer, for at least 5 summers, a friend of our neighbor across the street from us would visit his grandmother.

He was the same age as me, around 13 years old at the time. We really got along and I looked forward to his visits. I think his name was Harold.

On this particular visit, I told Harold earlier in the day that I got a small hand telescope for Christmas and showed it to him. I said its not easy to see much through it, however, when looking up at night, shooting stars became my fascination. So I told Harold, let's look for shooting stars tonight. He said OK, sounds good.

I told my parents I was going to Harold's grandmothers that night and I would be home around 10:00 p.m. She said fine. After dinner I walked across the street, met Harold and said we would wait for dark.

It seems to me now it was just when the sun set, we decided to lay on the ground and get the best view of the sky.

Long Island is very long directly east to west, and short north to south. We laid on the ground looking directly east. East of Long Island is the Atlantic Ocean.

Our field of view was approximately 30 degrees up, over small trees east, to straight up overhead. The sky was crystal clear. The sky was also grayish dark, being that the sun had not set that far behind the Earth.

As we were chatting and looking for shooting stars, approximately around 15 minutes, what we saw stayed with me to this day.

Coming straight from the east was a formation of approximately 7 perfectly round objects. We could see them so clearly because they were extremely black against the slightly lighter sky.

Also it was so quiet where our houses were in approximately 1954.

They were passing overhead fairly slow. I don't know what size they were, but I had the notion to raise my hand with thumb pointing out, and with my arm straight over one of the objects, it roughly covered the object almost perfectly.

We did not say a word to each other as they passed over. Directly behind us was a gigantic Chestnut tree. We could not see through the tree.

These objects did not make a whisper of a sound, dead silence. When they passed, I said to Harold, "What the hell was that"!

Their formation was not a V shape. It was just a random grouping, and the spacing between them was approximately 3 thumb widths.

I have never seen anything remotely like that in all the years since, and have spent most of my life as an amateur astronomer, up to 8 inch scopes, photographing the skies.

I only saw Harold for a year or two after that, but I am sure Harold thinks about that day, just like me.

Five Bright Orange Lights Seen Over Picnic Island Honey Harbour Ontario

Hi Brian,

My name is (name removed) and I was at Picnic Island Honey Harbour, Ontario this past weekend and myself and my friends saw a similar sighting to the one you described in 2011 (Brian Vike Note - The witness thought it was me who saw the orange lights, but it was someone filing their report to me).

We were sitting around the fire and at about 10:30 p.m. we looked up to see five bright orange lights in a triangle formation moving over the tree-line.

The formation then stopped and hovered for a bit before each one began to fade in and out and then disappear one by one. The whole event probably lasted no more than 2 to 3 minutes.

We were all quite amazed and excited. When I got home I started researching sightings in the area and came across your account, which basically described the same thing so I thought you would appreciate this email.

Two Bright Spheres Seen Over Quadra Island British Columbia

 Date:  August/September 2013
Time:  Early a.m.

There has been another sighting that I saw over Quadra about this time last year. It might have been in September, but it was in the early a.m. as well.

I was up in the kitchen which looks over the island and saw this very bright light above the island. I was half asleep and it took me a few minutes, but I did come out on our deck for a better view through our scope.

When I looked through the scope I saw two spheres, not one and they hovered there for at least 30 minutes.

This is the funny part, as I was scared (not normal for me!) I call 911 lol. They asked me what they would like me to do after I explained what I was looking at. Well that didn't go far needless to say.

So there you are, same area and same time, but a year apart. They were not the same UFO thought. Cheers.

Hi there, It is 2:00 a.m. and where we live our view is at Quadra Island approximately April Point. I have just watched, for 10 minutes through our scope something with orange and green lights oval and the lights were sort of spider like spraying out of its center piece.

4 Bright White Lights/UFOs In A Square Configuration Over The Water Seen From Royston Vancouver Island British Columbia

Date: March 14, 2013
Time:  Approx: 9:00 p.m.

About 9:00 p.m. this evening east by southeast of Royston, B.C. and approximately 800 meters from the beach and approximately 250 meters above the water I saw 4 medium bright white lights in a square configuration.

They were approximately 10 meters wide with a red light of varying brilliance moving quick and randomly within the parameter of the square. There was no sound.

I observed for approximately 45 seconds when it seemed to shrink and fade very slightly as if receding, then just disappeared.

Sasquatch Lifts Truck Onto It’s Side North Of The Strathcona Dam Campbell River Vancouver Island British Columbia

I live in Campbell River Vancouver Island British Columbia and have had experiences like that person had. You wouldn’t believe I will not go into the woods alone anymore, not even in my truck.

I had my truck lifted and placed on the passenger side one night while parked waiting for a friend just north of the Strathcona Dam right on the Gold River Highway.

Whatever it was ran right back into the bush where it had come from and screamed exactly like the guys on the “Finding Bigfoot” show. I took off right away and called the police and all I got was laughed at since there was no damage done to my truck.

Orange Lights In The Sky Over Victoria West Vancouver Island British Columbia (Case Solved – Chinese Lanterns)

Time:  Approx: 11:00 p.m.

Vike Factor Note: A witness wrote to me just now and informed me that the orange lights so many people saw were Chinese lanterns. They told me they were released in a ball park in honor of someone’s Birthday. Also it makes good sense that this is what the sighting would have been of, lanterns.

Hi Brian, I live in Victoria West and last night I saw a large number of floating lights in the sky moving from south to north. The movement was not consistent with what I would expect from Chinese Lanterns, although I do consider that to be a possibility.

Quite a few other people in my neighborhood saw as well, this would have been around 2300hrs.

I looked for event postings of Chinese lantern launches in the Vic West/Esquimalt area and found nothing, have you heard any other reports from last night?

I was leaving a party last night and I looked up at the sky and saw three orange globes floating in formation and traveling in the same direction towards the west.

I managed to take a picture, but I only captured two of the three.

12 To 15 And More Bright Orange Lights In The Sky Over Victoria Vancouver Island British Columbia (Case Solved – Chinese Lanterns)

Shape of Objects: Between round and oval.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My room-mate came into the house earlier tonight and told me that something strange was flying overhead in the sky. He was very excited, and he dashed through the kitchen and opened the door to the sundeck and stepped outside. I got up from my computer and followed him outside onto the sundeck and looked up into the night sky.

There was a fleet of flying craft of some kind up there, bright orange in color.

They looked like a squadron of planes flying together as if they were in some kind of air show. They followed each other, but not in a single line, but rather in a staggered formation, flying at the same speed together. But it was 10:45 p.m. on a Saturday night, and there wasn't any occasion calling for an air show. I was amazed. I thought they must be American aircraft of some sort, and I stood there next to my room-mate looking up at them in puzzled wonderment.

They were totally silent as they flew; no sound of engines or jet noises or anything. Totally silent. And they were pretty darn close to us, too. Not way far up there like distant stars or satellites, more like aircraft simply flying overhead. But they were bright orange in color. No flickering lights, no on and off lights; each one was identical to the others; they were each bright orange flying craft of some kind.

They came from the direction of Port Angeles, Washington. They came from the southwest and were flying almost directly overhead of us, here in the Victoria West area of Victoria, BC. They were headed northeast. There were 7 or 8 of them up in the sky that I could see at the same time, but that's not counting the ones that my room-mate had already seen fly over before he came into the house to tell me about it.

As I watched, more kept coming. All together I must have seen between 12 and 15 of them. I'm very skeptical of jumping to the conclusion that they were UFO's from outer space, but honestly, I've never seen aircraft that were bright orange like that. I mean the entire craft was orange; not just an orange light on it somewhere. And totally silent. And such a large squadron of them all at once.

After the last of them had flown over, I went back inside and immediately went online to try to see if anyone else was seeing these things flying over the city. But I couldn't find anything at all. Then I went and turned on the 11 o'clock news, and switched around the different news channels hoping to find something on there about these flying craft in the sky. But nothing. I kept going back outside onto my sundeck to see if there were any more of them, but they were gone. I have no idea what they were, and I wish I knew. Were they military craft of some kind? American or Canadian? Is there any way I can find out what they were, or if anyone else saw them in the sky on Saturday night?

Yellow/Orange Colored Lights Witnessed Over Victoria Vancouver Island British Columbia (Case Solved – Chinese Lanterns)

Shape of Objects: Single round lights.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: As bad as it sounds, we were pre-drinking for a party at a friends house. I had two beers at this point and our group was heading out to head to a house party.

We went outside and one individual in our group "joked" about some UFO's in the sky. I looked up to see four lights in a line, yellow/orange in colour, in the S/E of the sky travelling in an Eastern direction (our location was approximately Selkirk and Arm).

In my head I went through every possible logical explanation first, but the lights were individually moving up and down and at different rates of speed, though keeping a fairly steady line.

To my memory, as this was almost 4 hours ago now, the lights slowly spread apart to create almost a circle, then individually (though almost in pairs?) left in a south-eastern/into the sky direction, up and disappeared from sight. I say in pairs because, two would make the move in a close period of time and disappear, then the other two followed suit.

I tried to film on my cell phone but the footage is garbage at best, and filmed late in the ordeal (about in the formation of the circle?). The whole moment was less than two minutes long from when our group stepped outside, but I wish we had left earlier so I could have see more or later so I would have seen nothing at all.

My mind is racing at the possibilities and I feel like I'm the only one of my friends that is taking this seriously, even though I know they would vouch in a heartbeat.
I hope I'm not the only one that saw this.

30 Orange/Red Lights Observed In The Sky Over Victoria West Victoria Vancouver Island British Columbia (Case Solved – Chinese Lanterns)

Full Description of Event/Sighting: At approximately 2300hrs March 16th, 2013 we walked out my door facing west in Victoria West and saw groups of approximately 8 at a time of bright lights in the sky.

The lights were orange/red in color, and very bright and fast moving. Several lights seemed to stop for periods of time and resume movement, with no change in altitude. Others executed 90 degree turns. Approximately 30+ lights moved across the sky over a period of about 10 minutes.

Disk Shaped UFO Caught On Film Or Something Else Near Elk Island Park Alberta (Pictures)

Hi Brian, my name is (name removed). I am enclosing a couple of pictures to you, in hopes you could give some feedback.

The images were taken 02-24-2013 at 5:46 p.m. near Elk Island Park, Alberta.

I was a passenger and was taking pictures of the sunset, I did not see anything with the naked eye.

Additional Information:

I went through all the pictures I took that day to see if there was a reflection from the glass, and I truly cannot see one. I had taken 40 or more pictures.
