Orange/Red Lights Spotted In The Sky Over North Merritt Island Florida

Date:  April 24, 2015
Time:  Evening.

My Mom and I just saw them. We live in North Merritt Island, Florida. I was standing on the back porch and happened to look up and I saw two glowing orange orbs floating through the sky.

One was on top of another and when I called my mom to look at them, they had moved and formed a triangle and then haut, disappeared like "poof"!

Then not even 5 seconds later two more appeared and were very bright orange/red glowing orbs that moved in the same direction as the previous ones. They didn't form a triangle though, they got dimmer and haut pretty much dissipated and disappeared.

Then all of a sudden there were about 100 planes in the sky all going towards were it happened. I live in between Patrick Air Force Base and NASA. It kind of freaked us out, so we went searching online and we found this blog.

All of your stories are the exact same as what we saw, and our cameras would not work at all. We have professional grade cannon camera’s and they wouldn't focus on anything outside.

Then after the orbs disappeared, and my mom and I came inside, they worked perfectly and I also took a picture of a tree outback. But it wouldn't work before. Has anyone else a little freaked out?

Red/Orange Lights Fighter Jets Roaming The Sky Over North Coral Springs Florida

Date:  March 2015.
Time:  Evening.

I saw five red or what looked like orange lights over North Coral Springs, Florida. My reaction at first was like they are not really, but I noticed they had a formation and also the appeal to disappear for 20-30 seconds.

I was sitting down in my chair on the lawn when I noticed the lawn was orange and all around me.

They were hovering on top of me. I felt so weird, that I went cold, until I came back I was at the hospital.

The lights come and go and I have seen them 3 times already in different parts of Florida.

The only thing I can say is, that we are not alone, because what I heard from my brothers when I was cold, was that two fight jets were roaming the area for 10-25 minutes.

This only happens when there is something going on in the sky.

4 Bright Red/Orange Lights Over Delray Beach Palm Beach County Florida

Same as you described. Three at once low altitude.  Disappeared and then soon after a fourth.

Oblong up and downwards. Very bright red orange and yellow.

Bright Orange Balls Of Light Seen In The Sky From Auburndale Florida

Last night I was looking out my bedroom window, in the direction of Orlando from the second floor and straight ahead in the sky.

I live in Auburndale, Florida and I saw the bright orange balls floating upward.

Some were in groups, some alone and when they reached a certain height, they disappeared.

Then after a minute or so, another group started floating again. This was something I have never seen before.

3 Orange Lights Spotted Over Port Charlotte Florida

Bright Orange Lights/Objects Spotted Flying Over Saint Cloud Florida

I saw the same thing from Saint Cloud, Florida.

Bright orange light coming in my direction. I thought it was a helicopter.

Then it appeared to turn and seemed to be trailed by a flame.

It seemed to completely disappear at one point, but reappeared at a more distant point of light later.

Large Red/Orange Ball Of Light In The Sky Seen North On The Florida Turnpike

Date:  March 1, 2015
Time:  Approximately 11:15 p.m. or 11:20 p.m.

Hi there, my wife and I were heading north on the Florida turnpike and she saw a red/orange ball in the sky, and she said look at that, and I was driving and as I looked at it, I said it’s probably the moon.

She then said no, why would it be orange and red. So when I looked at it closer, and my eyes focused on it, it was a good size ball with the tail (not actually like a tail of a dog or falling star but large) the same color, and same width as the ball.

I could see the movement although it was moving very slow and the flames or tail part was fluttering like it was on fire. I told her to video it, and as she tried out the window only a sparkle showed up on the video (Samsung phone) and it was black.

The object was moving horizontally, but very high, but very visible in the sky, she said as she started to video it that the phone didn’t pick it up and that the object went upwards and disappeared.

We saw it around 11:15 or 11:20 pm. I lost sight of it before she did due to the top cab of the truck as I was looking up and to my right.

I should have just pulled over at first, but I thought it was nothing. Not sure what it was, but when I reached Mount Dora at 1:00 a.m. I turned on the news and there was no talk of any such thing. How can that be?

The news reports meteor showers and everything else except this object. Anyone have any ideas as to what this was.

I’m very skeptical of everything, but this was too cool and like I said, where was the news crews.

I’m sure others saw it, as I saw a post from a person in Avon Park. Just curious is all. It was very cool though. Makes me wonder?

Bright Orange Light With Short Trail In The Sky Seen From Avon Park Florida

Time:  Approximately 11:00 p.m.

On March 1, 2015, Sunday evening around 11:00 p.m. a bright orange light with short trail traveling slowly starting in the eastern sky headed higher and finally disappeared.  

Total viewing time about 1 minute or so.

Was seen in the eastern sky standing in my driveway, in Avon Park Florida. It moved steadily in a western direction  and was visible for over a minute.

Approximately 10 Lights/Objects In Formation Flicker A Red/Orange Over Lake Buena Vista Florida

I saw the exact same thing tonight over Lake Buena Vista. At least 10 of them and scattered in a perfect, geometric pattern.

This is my first UFO sitting. It was the strangest thing.

They all 'blinked' as you described, a strange red/orange flicker.

As I got closer to the formation they all seemed to individually go into the clouds.

Green UFO Makes V Shape Quickly And Stops And Leaves In The Sky Over West Palm Beach Florida

Time:  Evening.

I saw a UFO while driving west on PGA Blvd toward b line in West Palm Beach, Florida.

It was a bright green dot that seemed to come into earth atmosphere. It looked like a slow falling meteor, very green undeniably so. That was 2 seconds. Then it slowed down dramatically and do a shutter, hard to describe, but like a static shutter.

Then it took off from the shutter stop at remarkable speed. The whole encounter made a V shape (as viewing from my windshield) coming in top left, then stopping, then taking off.

The longest I had visual was while it made the shutter stop. When it took off (lack of better diction) I remained visual for a tenth of a second, maybe. Before disappearing.

Imagine the V in the sky. When I saw it at "\" angle coming towards earth's atmosphere it was moving slow, in relation to a shooting star or meteor. Very fast still in comparison to aircraft.

At the bottom of the V it made the shutter stop before departing with the "/" angle. When it departed it left a green trail, like that you would see of a shooting star. But no trail at the beginning of the slower moving "\" fall.

This was about 6 weeks ago. I said to myself very nonchalantly, "there are other beings in this universe" and didn't think about it for more than another 10 minutes and only thinking how cool it was I saw it.

I told one friend about it, and he thought I was high. Can't blame him, nothing man made would have been able to move that fast and until you see something like this man made is all you know and can comprehend.

The past few days I have a sudden fascinating intrigue with the universe. Contemplating upon myself where in the heck it could have all started. The big bang theory is nothing more than a theory made by a human like me with 2 eyeballs and a brain observing what he sees and drawing conclusions off of it.

For scientists to say they believe in the big bang seems exponentially absurd. It still poses another question even if you could somehow prove that, what was before the big bang?

I picture a white area with a tiny pigment black dot expanding. But where did the white area come from. I haven't slept since I started thinking about it.

Red/Orange Flying Fireball/Light In The Sky Over North Lauderdale Florida

Time:  11:27 p.m.

To whom this may concern, while smoking a cigarette outside at 11:27 p.m. a friend and I witnessed what looked to be a flying fireball.

It was red/orange in color and was flying across the sky. The object wasn't flying fast, but was constantly moving.

Then the object disappeared then reappeared, and finally disappeared for good.

Not even a minute after, two helicopters appeared and began circling the area where the object disappeared. The helicopter circling the area for about 30 minutes after the object disappear.

This happened in North Lauderdale, Florida.

V Shaped UFO Flew Over Fort Walton Beach Florida

Full Description of Event/Sighting: We were on our patio with our night vision looking at all the stars we could not see with our naked eye.

My husband told me to look in a certain area and when I did, I saw what he saw.

It had no blinking lights, it was not a plane.

I handed him back the night vision and he couldn't find it again and neither could I.

I came in and Googled V shaped UFO and found pictures of what we had seen.

My husband and I do not drink or do drugs and we know what we saw, we both saw it, then it was gone.

Neon Blue Light Brightens The Sky Over Tampa Florida

Time:  Approximately: 7:30 p.m.

Hello, I stumbled on your site today after looking for some answers of what I saw last night. I was out in south Tampa, Florida at a rooftop restaurant with some friends just after sunset.

Around 7:30 p.m. or so three of us all saw this magnificent almost neon blue light eliminate a very large portion of the sky.

There was also a large white circle of light that was low in the sky. The white light was visible for only a few seconds before it disappeared and the blue flashes lasted around 5 or 6 seconds.

I have not been able to find any information online as to a power issue or a blown transformer in the area.

If you have any information I would love to hear from you and if anyone else reported seeing it I would love to know.

Colored Objects And Triangular UFOs In The Sky Above Ocala Florida (Excellent Graphic)

Hello, I had seen some remarkable objects in the sky last night and I found your site while trying to research what I saw. Here's what happened.

I live in Ocala, Florida which is about an hour and a half from Orlando. I was driving home from work last night when I saw a large flashing object flashing white light brighter than anything I've ever seen before.

It was in the middle of my view, in plain sight. I had originally thought it was a cell phone tower, but it was so bright it was illuminating the sky around it.

I live in a rural town so its very dark at night and you can see the stars almost perfect. In the distance towards this object was also 2 separate red pulsating objects emitting what looked like red and green lights back and forth at each other.

As I got closer to my home, I was able to make out that the first large bright object was a triangle craft. By the time I had got home and out of my car I had counted 3 separate red UFOs and what I thought could have been two more, but were much higher, but flashing red, blue, and pulsating green (as they remained stationary but were revolving).

The triangular craft was a small distance away from the red UFOs and they acted almost as if they didn't notice each other. The triangle craft was flying in circles and very low.

Within seconds of getting out of my car the triangle craft had flown off, but the red UFOs began to ascend high into the sky, but not to the point as to where I was unable to see the pulsating lights still.

The whole thing is- there was one jet plane a good distance away from all these objects, heading towards the Orlando airport so I was able to compare the jet plane to these objects.

These were no plane, nor anything I've ever seen in my life. I attempted to take a few pictures but it was far too dark. I did however draw a diagram of what I saw. I am not the only witness to what I saw as well.

Florida is a UFO hot spot and the triangular craft seems to be seen by plenty of other people as well. I was thinking it was along the lines of military but the red UFOs I saw gave off an eerie feeling that made me believe they were something else.

Numerous Orange Red Lights/UFOs Seen Over Orlando Florida (Diagram)

I never really believed in UFO's before and certainly never saw anything that could even come close for 72 years.

Last Thursday changed all that. I really can't explain what I saw in the sky over Orlando, FL in any other way except that they either came from some other planet or our government has made something far more technically advanced than anyone can imagine.

I was coming in my long driveway in Chuluota facing west looking towards Orlando and the international airport. I am used to seeing planes landing all the time as there is usually a continuous line of them coming in full of Disney World vacationers.

I saw a couple of lines of aircraft (lights) lined up as if coming in for a landing, but were too close to each other. I remember saying to myself, "boy, they really have the planes stacked up tonight at the airport".

But there were two things that weren't right. First they were coming in from the west too close to the runway and second, they were the wrong color with only one light.

Instead of the usual color of landing lights, these were bright red or red orange and pulsing slightly.

I parked my car and came back out in the yard where I could see them well. There was one line of four going very slow as if in a landing pattern gradually descending coming from the west with another line of three lined up in the same direction several miles to the north.

I saw a jet airliner gaining altitude going north having just taken off from OIA and flew right by the lead light.

After a short time the lead light started climbing with no increase in speed at a very sharp angle, maybe 75 or 80 degrees. the second and so forth started following the leader up into a cloud hanging over an area to the south of them.

When the first line disappeared into the cloud the second line did the same thing then I noticed more coming out from behind the tree line and they did the same thing. I never saw any of them again.

It was cloudy to the south, but very clear every other part of the area and the full moon was out. So I had a perfectly clear view of all of them until they disappeared into the cloud.

The total number was about 12 or 13.

Also, please feel free to send in your sightings that have happened years ago. So many of these older sightings are nothing short of amazing.

Three Red/White Flashing Lights Hovering Over Tampa Florida

 Date:  August 15, 2014
Time:  Approx: 10:30 p.m.

Today is August 15, 2014 I have seen three red/white flashing lights hovering over Tampa, Florida around 10:30 p.m. I drive home every night this way and have never before seen anything like this in the sky.

I know for a fact it was not stars and they seem to be a pattern and seemed to generally stay that way.

I lost sight for about 15 minutes (I got home and got a camera) I went back to see them and they were gone.

Triangle Shaped Object With Red/Orange Light In The Middle Over Lakeland Florida

Date:  August 13, 2014
Time:  Approx: 10:00 p.m.

Last night around 10:00 p.m. I walked next door to my buddy's house and they were telling me that they had seen a flaming object falling down from the sky and they to thought it was an airplane crashing.

I looked at the news the next day and nothing was reported. Very strange! I never believed in UFO's, but on a separate incident I seen what I thought was a plane or drone.

I was outside with my dad and neighbors and seen what was a perfect triangle shaped object with a red/orange light in the middle moving across the sky, not just one, but seven of them.

I took a video and can't see it clear, but you can see the light. They where silent and moving slow nothing was reported.

Additional Information:

The sighting I saw was here in Lakeland, Florida the objects were coming from the north traveling east. They were silent and spinning slow and there was like a red or dull orange light in the middle and when they got closer the light shut off.

My neighbors witnessed it and my dad also. We reached out to a website called MUFON, but I guess for me it isn't enough I wish I knew more of what I seen.

6 Or 7 Red/Orange Lights Seen In The Sky Over Miami Lakes Florida

Date:  February 17, 2013
Time:  Approx: 12:30 a.m.

Last night I saw these same lights, 6 or 7 of them. They were flying up into the atmosphere at first, in a sort of organized formation and then they broke up.

They were reddish/orange and I know they weren’t fireworks because they never exploded and they continued flying up until they disappeared.

I live in Miami Lakes. The lights were coming from the north/northwest around 12:30 a.m. My girlfriend also saw them with me. What is this?
