3 To 4 Greenish White Lights Circling Around In The Sky Over Southwestern Pennsylvania

So my friend and I were in my back yard at bout 12:10 a.m.

We live in Southwestern Pennsylvania and we saw the same thing you described.

We saw 3-4 greenish white lights circling around in the cloudy sky. What could it be?

Bright White Object In The Sky Above Terrace British Columbia

Date:  April 5, 2015
Time:  2055 hrs and 2140 hrs – 2145hrs.

While walking my dog, I saw a brilliantly bright white object flying from the W to the SE.

I used my flashlight on the object and the same disappeared immediately. Estimated distance around 3 – 4 km and the object was seen for about 10 seconds.

Almost an hour later, I was outside on the grass, I seen another object which had almost the same appearance as the earlier one flying with slow speed from the W in a straight line towards the E.

The object was easily to spot for 5 minutes, because it flew directly over Terrace, altitude est. 3 km, and I am certain that someone did spot it.

I need to mention that this object was as bright as the planet Venus and disappeared south of my position.

When I used my flashlight on it, there was decrease in speed, noticeable almost to the point of standstill.

Grayish/White UFO Disappeared Suddenly Over Thornhill Mountain Terrace British Columbia

I spotted a grayish-white object flying from the SW to the NE.

The object was visible for only 25-30 seconds and disappeared suddenly from view.

The same was at least 4 – 5 km high, compared to Thornhill Mountain, and was rather speedy.

Object/UFO Was LED Bright White Seen Flying Over Charlotte North Carolina

Hello, my name is (name removed). Today I was searching in my "favorites" and ran across your article, apparently I had saved it. I must tell you I don't remember doing so.

I will however tell you, that I have been bothered by the fact that I have seen the exact LED white ball you described seeing in 2012.

I live near Charlotte, North Carolina and it was about 5:00 p.m. I was standing on my back porch, smoking a cigarette and watching from a 10-15 mile distance (as the crow flies) all of the planes flight patterns as they  were coming into, and leaving Charlotte.

Just kind of gazing into the sky. All of the sudden, this huge, I'd say bigger than the moon, LED bright white perfectly round ball appeared a little above the distant tree line and it just hung there for, I'd say ten seconds and then it just started descending slowly from the sky and then it just was gone.

Like everyone else, I really thought I was going to hear an explosion, but there was nothing. Just the commercial airplanes flying in the sky all in the same area of sky as what I had just witnessed.

I have often spoken of this experience to my husband of 31 years and my children. I often look out my porch, hoping to see this occurrence again, but never have.

I witnessed this the Fall of 2013, I'd say the month of October or first part of November.

I am writing you to let you know that I also join, I guess, the select few that have seen this strange phenomena and wonder if you have ever found out what it is.

Object Flickering From White Orange Red Seen From Pincher Creek Alberta (Picture)

Time:  10:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.

Hi there, I found your website this evening after my friend, her Mom and I saw a UFO.  I’ve seen one before, same direction over our town (Southwest).

I don’t have a great camera on my phone, but I’ll send you what I got anyway. I also filmed it.

It was flickering like no star I’ve ever seen. It was low on the horizon, too low to be a star, and very far away from any of the other stars. It is a clear night tonight.

It seemed to change shape, the lighting around it. We couldn’t make out the shape, or any other details, as it was too far away.

The flickering colors were white, orange and red. The orange and red colors were faint. It appeared to just sit and hover for a long time, but did move slightly.

It eventually disappeared. Thought I should tell someone.

Lights Seen Moving In Circles Over White Plains New York

I saw three white lights here in White Plains New York. Today is actually my first time seeing these things.

It was really scary, but my sister-in-law she told me she saw it yesterday, and the day before.

It's goes in circles, like if somebody was using a flashlight from the sky. This happen around 9:00 p.m. and up.

Bright White Object Seen In The Sky Over Bloomington Indiana

Date:  March 16 and 17th, 2015
Time:  Approximately 11:30 p.m.

Hello, my name is (name removed), and I live south of Bloomington, Indiana, near the eastern end of Ketcham Road.

I also saw a bright flying object in the sky on Monday and Tuesday.

I think it was around 11:30 p.m. It was moving slowly and not smoothly, southward or eastward.

The color was almost white, maybe slightly red. I saw it without binoculars, so I can't describe the shape, and besides it was very far away.

My husband, who didn't see it, said that this could have been a "Drone" or other radio flying device, though.

White Object With Red And Blue Seen Over Mastic Beach Suffolk County New York

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Over the past three evenings I spotted what appeared to be a star, but after a few minutes it went up in quick motion, but did not disappear.

It also went sideways at times.

It seems like several smaller ones near it that were doing the same thing.
Definitely not stars.

Circular White Objects Large Triangle Over Edmonton Alberta

Date:  March 7, 2015
Time:  Noticed around 1:40 a.m. and observed until 3:00 a.m.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was standing in my backyard on the south end of Edmonton, Alberta (near Century Park) and saw what appeared to be an erratically moving star in the sky.

After watching it for several minutes, I could occasionally discern that it was 2 lights and not one, or at least that is how it appeared for the first hour or so.

Around 2:20 a.m. I became aware of two other lights moving in tandem with the one I had been watching, and have since begun to assume this is the large triangular ship that I discovered.

There has been hundreds of sightings in the skies of my area (Western Canada that is).

 It did not seem to be traveling and appeared to be in a somewhat general area of space for the duration that I was watching it, but subtle movements and occasional activity around the two smaller lights (in a triangle the 2 corners on the same side appeared.

7 White Beams And 3 Red Beams Of Light Pulsating In The Sky Over Kingston Ontario

I am not sure what the people are seeing, it is possible that this could be from Skytracker Searchlights - spotlight truck or because the area is experiencing extremely cold weather the beams of light could be shafts of light, Light Pillar Ice Crystals. There is a picture of these pillars at the below link.

White Light Circling Around In The Sky Over The Hudson River Stuyvesant New York

Date:  February 18, 2015
Time:  Approximately 4:00 a.m.

White light circling over the Hudson River in the Stuyvesant, NY (USA) Noticed it around 4:00 a.m. and it is still in the sky.

It isn't making any noise, at least I don't hear any, though every now and then I do hear a faint humming, but not sure if it is connected.

Also a plane flew to the east of it, I'm not sure if they were the same altitude though. It has been 40 minutes since I noticed it and it is still just flying around in almost a pattern.

It feels like it is looking for something. This is the second time I've seen a silent white light flying in the sky in Stuyvesant.

The last time was a few years ago, but that light flew north following the river. I wonder if there are connected in a way and I wonder if water is something connected with other sightings as well.

I've heard some UFOs go into the water, not sure if this could be related since it's above the river. If I see it do something other than circle the sky (such as fly into the river) I'll be sure to report it here. I also find it weird that it is similar time as Auburn.

Large Bright White UFO/Disc Lake Country Okanagan Valley British Columbia

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Upon staring out my window at the stars and sky like I do on a nightly basis, I saw a large bright white object that was never there before.

It was too close to the ground to be a star. It was wide and shaped like a disc and gleamed the brightest white that it made it hard to focus on.

I had to keep readjusting my eyes to this brightness. It was hovering well above the houses over a cow field and in the flight path to our airport.

I thought it may have been an airplane, but it didn't move. I ran downstairs to tell my family and came back up to find it was gone.

3 UFOs Spotted Around Thornhill Mountain British Columbia

Date:  February 16, 2015
Time:  7:04 p.m.

Hello Brian, I had another impressive sighting a few minutes ago!

At 19:04 I looked out of the hallway window of my place, which faces the Thornhill mountain in southeasterly direction, when I seen two white stationary objects close to the mentioned mountain range.

Both objects had a very bright white appearance and were twice big in as the planet Venus.

I watched the two objects for approximately 2 minutes and both of them went at different times invisible before reappearing again. After that I left my place and walked slowly towards the two objects.

The visual distance between the two was "two outstretched fingers wide". I would estimate the distance about 2.5 - 3 kilometers.

Suddenly a third object appeared very close to the most eastern (left) object. This object was white white and suddenly became orange before becoming white again!

The most western object repeated this color change from white to orange and back to white. All three objects were gone at 19.11.

All in all a very impressive sighting, not as impressive as what happened to me at other times, but still very exciting.

Neon Blue Light Brightens The Sky Over Tampa Florida

Time:  Approximately: 7:30 p.m.

Hello, I stumbled on your site today after looking for some answers of what I saw last night. I was out in south Tampa, Florida at a rooftop restaurant with some friends just after sunset.

Around 7:30 p.m. or so three of us all saw this magnificent almost neon blue light eliminate a very large portion of the sky.

There was also a large white circle of light that was low in the sky. The white light was visible for only a few seconds before it disappeared and the blue flashes lasted around 5 or 6 seconds.

I have not been able to find any information online as to a power issue or a blown transformer in the area.

If you have any information I would love to hear from you and if anyone else reported seeing it I would love to know.

Huge White Flashes Light Up The Sky Seen From Outside Of Salem Oregon (Lightning)

White Light/UFO Circling In The Sky Over Denver Colorado

I live in Denver. Yesterday I saw a white light circling round and round for at least 5 minutes.

It was circling in a fix perimeter and appeared to me like a white bird flying just over the clouds.

It was kind of shrinking and expanding like a bird does with its wings.

I called my wife downstairs to see it, but by that time it was gone.

Large White Object In The Sky Seen Between London And Komoka Ontario (Sounds Like The Planet Venus)

Time:  6:10 p.m.

I was driving west on Fanshawe Pk road from London to Komoka tonight at 6:10 when I noticed a large white light in the western sky. It wasn't moving. It wasn't a plane or a tower.

After watching it for ten minutes (and recording some of it with my phone while driving) I called my parents to go out and look.

I had to tend to a client, (it's now 6:30 p.m.) who I also pointed it out to, as it was very obvious in the sky. He was perplexed.

We went inside and when I came out 40 minutes later, it was very low on the horizon and had turned orange. My parents also confirmed that they watched it outside.

White Lights Moving In A Circular Pattern Over St. Louis, Missouri

I guess I'm the latest lucky one to the "sightings group of circular moving lights in the sky".

I've been trying to see if there are any others reporting this to TV, internet etc. in St. Louis, Missouri tonight 9/5/2014, but only found wicked lighting, heavy blanketing clouds and rain was earlier stated on the tube.

The clouds did have a majestic look earlier before the rain started this evening.

Now, let's get to the lights. These have been appearing for the last 2 or 3 hours since about 7:30 p.m., off and on after the last rain fall. They appeared south of me and have a definite fast moving circular pattern.

I first noticed 3 or 4 white lights spaced apart moving through the clouds in a west to east noodling ovals (but a deliberate loose pattern) with no light source from land, fading and glowing brighter at times but not changing color.

The white lights where to largely disbursed in size, plus inside the clouds dimming or glowing brighter for lazars to be the answer. As stated before by others maybe from above or actually from self emitting electrical glow surges passing in and out through the different shaded cloud forms.

Hypnotic and entertaining in ways to say the least.

Now that's the first part of what I saw because I have a few strange things to add. I went inside my dwellings to grab my binoculars to see if I could see better into the clouded lights, but that proved to make not much improvement to what I was seeing.

Also by the time I did come back it had changed to 2 circular loops with about 8 to 10 white lights moving in opposite directions in a figure 8, but not continuous to crossing paths to each other's loop.

When the white lights did come to their meeting center point it made for a simultaneous 4 bright lighted section glow. I've never seen anything like this before. I watched for about an hour.

I went inside to check the news and came back out about 30 minutes later to see the circles gone, but there was a faint moving lighted plasma pattern effect to a cloud form in the middle of where the figure 8 was.

I watched for awhile and went inside again to reappear about an hour later to see the whole thing had started again with circles farther south, miles away toward my southern horizon. It seemed to be moving with just that one cloud group form.

Maybe a new or ancient natural electrical phenomenon from earth's past, global warming anyone !
