Bright Green Glowing Object With Long Tapering Tail Seen In The Sky Between Stillwater And Lake Elmo Minnesota

Hey there, I also witnessed a bright green glowing object with a long, tapering tail speeding across night sky. It looked as if it would crash close by.

It was headed down towards the Earth at quite a high speed. I have never, ever witnessed such a spectacular event. 

I was headed southwest on Hwy. 5 driving from Stillwater to Lake Elmo, MN around 8 p.m. on Thursday, December 13, 2012.

It was clear outside and this object would have been hard to miss if one was also outside and happened to see it.

It was pretty damned awesome, if you ask me!

Object Object With Short Tail Seen Over Stillwater Minnesota

Time:  Approx: 8:00 p.m. - 8:20 p.m.

I saw a ball of light at approximately 8:00 p.m. - 8:20 p.m. traveling south southwest in the southern sky.

It appeared to be a blue orb traveling very rapidly like a shooting star, but larger and with a very short tail of the same color, which dissipated very quickly in the sky.
