Fiery Object In The Sky Over Dunkirk New York

 

Date:  July 6, 2012

Time:  Evening.

 

My name is (name removed) of Dunkirk NY. I witnessed the same exact thing while sitting on my patio with a neighbor the night of July 6th, 2012.   

 

We initially thought it was a plane in distress, but wondered why it wasn't landing at our local airport. We also witnessed several bright streams in the sky, constellations.

I shared my sighting on Facebook; one friend saw the object as well.  

I'm very interested in learning what it truly was - weather balloon, hot air balloon, space junk or even something of a more "unnatural kind"
