Date: 2012 (?)
Time: From 10:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
Hello, saw some green and red flashing lights in the sky. It was not a weather balloon or a satellite, there was no movement. Watched it for about two hours, no movement just a rapid flash of red and green light with the occasional yellow flash.
Satellites move at incredible speeds due to the gravitational pull of our planet and a weather balloon wouldn't be that high up and have zero movement for two hours.
Time from 10:30 to 12:30. Still no clue as to what it was, but I was facing south east and in relation to the bottom of the big dipper it was south of the "spoon part"

I have seen many blinking lights. I look at them every night. I'm unsure of what they are. They move differently than the stars. I know this because I use the big dipper as a reference point and within a period of two hours they have moved a good distance away from the last spot I saw them. I also noticed there was one really really close. I could've make out only that it was a rapidly flashing light. It flashed blue green red yellow and white and it moved over a great distance in the sky for two nights and it then was out of sight. These lights are not satellites, stars planets, planes, or weather balloons. Please check your skies at night. I don't have a camera strong enough to record them.
