UFOs - Red Lights Hover And Blue Lights Form Vertical Line In The Sky South Of Chestermere Alberta

Date:  February 28, 2015
Time:  11:40 p.m. - 11:45 p.m.

Hi there, my name is (name removed) and I am 31 years old. I am writing this to see if someone else possibly saw the same thing I did.

Last night at 11:40 p.m. - 11:45 p.m. is when I witnessed this strange object. I live on an acreage about 20km east of Calgary, Alberta and about 1km south of Chestermere.

There are no city lights to tamper my view of the sky. What I viewed appeared to be hovering over Calgary, or possibly in between Calgary and Chestermere. I let my dog outside and was calling him back in when I noticed a bright flashing red light gliding quite slowly, headed south.

I assumed at this point that it was simply a plane as we have a good view of flights headed in and out of the Calgary airport. But after watching it for about 10 seconds it began to slow down and came to a complete stop in the sky.

It then completely reversed it's direction and began to head back north. As soon as it changed directions, it started to flash red and blue lights. At this point I figured it must just be a helicopter. But once again, it slowed down to a complete stop.

At this point, the red lights stopped and the blue lights moved together to form a vertical line. My heart started to beat extremely fast at this moment as I realized that what I saw was not a plane nor a helicopter.

The blue vertical line of light hovered for about 5-10 seconds and then poof, it vanished into thin air!

I then went outside to see if maybe it flew into a cloud, but there were absolutely no clouds in sight and I had a clear view of the stars in the sky. I waited and watched for another 20 minutes or so hoping to see it again, but all I saw were planes.

I have viewed many planes (and helicopters) from this location and I am convinced it was neither. It appeared to be hovering a lot lower that most planes fly and the speed at which it moved is what is really baffling. The fact that it stopped, changed directions and then changed it's form into a line, is even more baffling.

I do not drink or do drugs and was not seeing things. I am simply writing this to see if anyone else witnessed this also.

Odd Looking Lights Seen In The Sky From Calgary Alberta

Date:  February 23, 2015
Time:  Approximately 11:00 p.m.

Number of Objects: 2 perhaps, 3 lights connected or along a thread of light.
Shape of Objects: 2 or 3 lights seemingly connected by a thread of light between them moving north.
Colour of Object: Whitish perhaps some silver?

Canadian UFO Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: There are a lot of reports coming in from across Canada, mostly in British Columbia and Alberta. Trying to figure out what they might be.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I had just pulled out of the carwash to the Heritage and Fairmont intersection red light to head south on Fairmont Dr. SE.

I was obviously looking south across the intersection watching the traffic light to turn green. From my view south to the south southwest some weird lights caught my eye.

They caught my eye because they didn’t fit any pattern I could recognize such as aircraft etc.

I kept watching as the light turned green and I went south while still trying to figure the lights out. (and wandering all over the road).

I thought the lights were a reflection off an apartment roof, then I thought had some construction started and they erected one of those big cranes?

I kept watching the lights and thought I have to pull over and get out to see better. The lights were still visible when I turned right (W) on Avonburn Rd. As soon as I turn the corner I stopped in the middle of the road, so the tree on my right wouldn’t block the lights and I jumped out on the car.

The lights were now passing the west and fading as they moved north. I saw the lights for a total time of about 25-30 seconds and only about 5 seconds out of the car.

I also thought that they must have been meteors, except they moved too slow, lasted too long and the 2 or 3 lights seemed to be following a single line with a dimmer line of light between them.

So, to sum it up, 2 perhaps a much dimmer 3 rd light moving form SSW to W then towards the north. Not over Calgary, but a long way off about 40 degrees above the horizon of buildings.

Bright enough to be seen well above the brightness of the city lights. I think you would be getting some reports from Calgary westwards.

Just really curious what it could have been and hoping others saw it.

Green Balls Of Light Line Up In The Sky Over Calgary Alberta

I live in Calgary Alberta and I was just outside and saw a green ball of light slowly going down then back up a little then gone not 10 minutes later.

I saw 4-7  balls all above each other, then they all went in a line a cross the sky then gone.

I found your e mail online linked to a UFO sighting.

Get back to me ASAP, its not the first time me or my girlfriend has seen similar things to this. date today is February 23, 2015 at 11:08 p.m.

White Fireballs In The Sky Over The Alabama/Florida State Line

Time:  Evening.

I had something similar happen to me tonight (January 23, 2013)

I had a bizarre experience tonight on the Alabama/Florida state line. I was in the absolute middle of nowhere about 20 miles away from Milton, Florida when I saw four white fireballs in the sky.

They were extremely close, fast, and made no noise at all whatsoever. The fireballs would flash into the sky and then reform into balls of white light and fly around close to each other. I pulled off the highway to see them as did other drivers.

They disappeared and I continued on my drive.

Ten minutes later while driving I noticed a red orb of light slightly smaller than the white ones and more solid to the left of me seemingly going at my pace and following me.

While that was happening the white orbs were back and above me to the right in the sky doing the same thing as before, flaming/flashing into the sky and reforming into balls of white fiery light all the while flying around. Again, they disappeared into thin air.

So, the real kicker to this story is that I was almost home (Navarre, Florida) and I saw three of the white fireballs again and over ten light colored military tanks were pulling out of a side road heading towards where the balls of light were coming from.

By the way. I saw it in the sky over Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Exactly the same as your husband described. Green line like a firework, but in a straight line. Very quick. So fast and so close.

Flared Ball Of Green Light Seen Just Above The Tree Line Over Fish Kill New York

Thought the same myself when I flash of light grasped my attention right outside my window in Heron Cut.

My first thought was a shooting star, but the flared ball of light appeared just above the tree line and was larger than any shooting star I have ever seen.

I then thought maybe it was fire works, but didn't hear the sound. It was only one I saw and it was gone.

Line Of Orange/Red Lights In The Sky Over Parkland Florida

Shape of Objects: Round.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: We went to take the dog outside and saw a line of orange/red glowing objects traveling in a line from north to south. They just kept coming, about 500 yards apart.

They went about as fast as a plane and were about 10k feet up. They glowed at first and then when they got further south, towards Coral Springs, the glow stopped and it was just a faint red light.

When they traveled in front of a white cloud, I could see they were round shaped. They didn't hover or stop at all, just kept traveling south. Weirdest thing we have ever seen.

Line Of Orange Lights In The Sky Over Batavia Illinois

My daughter and I were on our way home eastbound on Fabyan Parkway in Batavia last night (9/28/12) about 10:30 p.m. when we saw a staggered vertical line of orange lights in the sky ahead of us. 

The lights hovered in the sky for several minutes and then disappeared one by one. There was no sound.  It was one of the most bizarre events we have ever seen, and we could not figure out what we were looking at. 

Clearly these objects were not anything we would normally see in the sky.

Green Line Spotted Over The Chiswick/Kew/Brentford Area UK (Pictures)

Time:  Around 11:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.

Hey, I was in my garden last night and saw a green line in the sky, much like the one you were describing. It was around 11/12 at night and it did fade with cloud cover, meaning it was higher than the clouds.

It was in the Chiswick/Kew/Brentford area. I'm located in Acton and saw it, and we got pictures too. What do you think it is? Thanks.

Additional Information:
Here are the pictures, they were taken on a digital camera and so not great, but zoom in and you will see a clear green line.

I heard that these are lasers on top of buildings, my friend says he sees them alot in Birmingham.

It could be coming from Glaxosmithkline in Brentford or something there, seems plausible. Thanks again and let me know what you think.

In the pictures, the green line is located just below the two brightest stars. So if you were to draw a line to connect the two stars, its just below the middle of this line.

A Line Of Orange Colored Lights Over Rufford Lancashire UK

Time:  10:55 p.m.

Hi Brian, I've just seen exactly the same over Rufford, Lancs (possibly further north i.e. over Preston, difficult to tell distance). I live on the A59 half a mile south of Rufford.

I was in our conservatory which has a good view north.

At 22:55 I saw a line of orange lights in the sky, moving east-west. They weren't Chinese lanterns - they were too fast and too large for that. At first I thought it looked like a plane had exploded and all the debris was going in a line across the sky rather than downwards. There was no sound.

It lasted for at least 5 seconds and then disappeared out of view. I ran to the front window which looks East but couldn't see anything.

There is lots of air traffic in this area but I am familiar with how that looks and this was not a single plane or helicopter and there were no flashing red or green lights like you would get with a plane. It was multiple lights.

Two Blinding Blue White Balls Of Plasma Appeared On High Voltage Line At Nevada/California Border

Brian, I saw your articles and decided to add my sighting to your data. I am an ironworker and work at the Molycorp Mountain Pass, California mine. 

Yesterday, August 21, 2012, at 14:30 hours, my co-worker and carpool buddy and I were headed  back to Las Vegas after an 8 hour shift. 

A light rain fell as we drove north on the I-15 in moderate traffic. The state line was, but a few miles north when we both gasped in amazement at the sight ahead of us.

Two blinding blue-white balls of plasma appeared on the high voltage/high tensile ground line that stretched across the interstate. 

They were approximately 15 to 20 feet in diameter and were stationary on the Nevada Energy power line. The odd thing about this phenomena is that the balls of plasma were separated by at least 100 yards and both plasma balls appeared and disappeared at the same time.

The duration of the  occurrence: 15 seconds.

Green Line In The Sky Over Chiswick/Kew/Brentford Area UK

Glowing Orange Ball Floating Over The Tree Line At Mercer/Crawford County Pennsylvania Line

Time:  Evening.

My husband just pulled down our driveway on the Mercer/Crawford County, Pennsylvania line, heading due east and came running into the house to get me outside to see the orange glowing ball floating above the trees. 

I missed it, but he said it was nothing man made and looked like there was fire in the center of it. He said it was about the size of a very big beach ball and looked as if it was 100 feet off the ground.  He didn't hear any sounds when he got out of the car. 

We are approximately 7 miles from the Ohio border and are always very suspicious of the Ravenna Ohio Airforce Base. We're realists and this has him pretty confused.

8 Orange Glowing Balls Of Light Spotted Over Walkers Line Burlington Ontario

Time:  Evening.

 

Hey Brian, last night my husband and I were on Walkers Line in Burlington at the same time and we saw the same thing!

 

We stopped the truck in the middle of the road and got up on the flatbed to look and take a picture, but the phone just shut off every time we tried.

 

There were 8 glowing balls flying in four groups of two each one a little lower than the first, and like you said disappeared one at a time.

 

Wow we never saw anything like that before. I had to post as anonymous only because I don't have any account.

Glowing Line In The Sky Over Qualicum Beach North End Vancouver Island British Columbia

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My sons and I saw a bright glowing line in the sky as the sun was setting. If you imagine the length of 3/4 of an inch or 2 cm between your fingers, but at arms length then that would be the scale of the object.

 

I drove towards it, thinking I could get a closer look, but when I reached the end of the road I stopped.

 

It slowly started to shrink up until it was just a point of light, not unlike a star, but then drifted north and went behind the trees.
