I saw the same thing someone else saw, and it was exactly like you explained it and I thought I was going crazy too please message me back to confirm I am contacting the right person.

Additional Information:

I saw it around 10:00 p.m. and on April 1st 2015. I live in west Carrollton, Ohio.

It was a green streak falling from the sky in the dead of night, but before it disappeared it flashed and vanished.

Ball Of Light Circling Around In The Night Sky Over Edmonton Alberta

Time:  Approximately 11:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.

Hello, I read your story about flashing lights and I have witnessed something strange, too. Yesterday around 11:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. me and my friends were outside having a cigarette and we noticed this ball of light circling over and over again on the exact spot.

At first to me it looked like someone is doing that with a powerful flash light because I wanted to justify it with realistic explanation, but there were no beams coming out from anywhere.

We watched it for a while, but it just did the exact same thing, moving in a circle without changing location or pattern.

The light was only visible on clouds, but it did not disappear, it just kept going. We did not see any flying objects or anything at all. It was also super strange because couple hours ago my friend read about the incident that happened in Manitoba lake, where apparently an alien ship crashed and military was trying to cover it up.

So that just freaked us out, and for the rest of the night I felt super unsafe and had a really bad gut feeling that something isn't right.

My friends psychic friend even told her that something is coming and it won't be good. This happened over my neighborhood in Edmonton, Alberta Castle Downs area where YMCA is and Beaumaris Lake.

I really hope it is only some joke, but I just wanted to let you know since me and my friends couldn't understand what it was.

Please let me know of anyone else witnessed something similar, maybe they know a logical explanation for it.

Flashing Object Seen Moving all Around The Night Sky Over Whistler British Columbia

Date:  January 10, 2013
Time:  6:11 a.m.

Hi, my boyfriend and I live in Whistler, area of Nordic. It happened at 6:11 a.m. on January 10, 2013. I was wide awake looking at the clear blue sky, no clouds at all.

Suddenly I saw a flashing light moving (round shape) in every direction. It was not a plane. It happened for about 30 seconds. It was going up then down, everywhere, but never straight in line. It would be up and then disappear and appearing again, but really quickly.

Actually like an electron going everywhere.

My boyfriend was sleeping so I woke him up, it happened again for about 15 seconds and he saw it too.

Right after it happened, I saw about 5 satellites where the lights happened, like if they were looking for something.

I am used to watch the sky a lot and I never seen anything like this before. I just wanted to let you know.

It might be an UFO, but might be a problem with a satellite that I am not aware of.

Hi, thank you. Nordic is in between Whistler Village and Whistler Creekside. Absolutely no sound.

After the second flashing light disappeared (the one my boyfriend also saw), yes I saw five others, but they were really small and not flashing. They flew and then disappear. I would say for the size the two flashing lights I saw were an apple and the five ones a blubbery.

Green Light Shoots Across The Night Sky Over Schenectad New York

Seen on Saturday. In Schenectady N.Y. around 5:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. It was traveling west. My son n his friend sent me a text at 2:58 this a.m. saying they saw it again.

They both seen green light on Saturday also.

Orange Lights Appear In The Night Sky Over London Ontario

Time:  After midnight.

Hello Brian, like many others it seems, I saw orange lights last night. Dozens in fact.

I'm in London, Ontario, at the NW edge of the city, with a field across the street, miles away from any revelry and the sighting occurred shortly after midnight.
I was spending a quiet night alone, stone cold sober and went out for a breath of fresh air while chatting with a friend on the phone.
The lights were travelling from the NW heading ESE. As I said, there were dozens, most singly but also smaller clusters, of twos, threes and fours.
It was completely overcast here and they were well under the cloud cover. The lights were solid, no blinking or flickering, there was absolutely no sound and they were moving too slowly to be planes.
My next thought was that someone had released balloons with lights attached but the direction and speed was steady with no deviation, eliminating that possibility.
Fireworks are easy to rule out due to the "behavior" of the lights as already mentioned.

The procession, for lack of a better term, continued for several minutes.
A quick online search this morning lead me to your blog and I was surprised to see so many other similar sightings reported from multiple regions that I definitely had to share this. Regards.

Witness Watches Night Turn To Day In A Large Flash Of Light Over Qualicum Beach British Columbia

About an hour ago I was lying in my bed watching a movie on my phone.

The room was completely dark except for my phone screen, all of the sudden the outside lit up like daylight, then flashed a few times then went back to darkness.

It is a clear night tonight and I don't think it was lightning. Any ideas on what it might have been? Please get back to me with any information you might have.

Massive Bright Green Fireball Shot Across The Night Sky Over Austin Texas

I have recently seen the same thing in Austin, on December 14th, 2012 around 11:30 p.m. I can see the sky from the couch as I was watching TV. Something caught my eye and I look up and I see this massive bright green fireball shoot across the sky.

Much bigger than any shooting star or comet I have ever seen. It did not have a tail, but rather a short flaming glow that was on the back end. Gave me chills! It was kind of spooky, but also rather remarkable!

12 To 25 Orange Colored Lights In The Night Sky Over Downtown Edmonton Alberta

My wife and I saw 12-25 of these lights. They were moving west to SE at about 19:30 on December 29, 2012 over downtown Edmonton.

Too fast to be helicopters and flying too low to be jets. No idea what they were. They disappeared into a cloud bank.

Second Night Observing A Unknown Light Over South Louisiana

Hi, I was reading an article about a strange light and sightings of planes. The light is strange and this is my second night observing it. I'm puzzled by it.

My husband and mother seen it as well. At first I thought it was a bright star, but it was really bright and began to move.

I have never seen anything like it. It has no blinking light, but I see many planes with blinking lights fly in the same area. I live in South Louisiana. Today is December 3, 2012.

Bright Green Object Falls From The Night Sky Over Orange County California

Hello, my husband and I just saw a bright green light fall very fast from the sky at 8:58 p.m. - 8:59 p.m. pacific time tonight. I'm Googling as we drive to look for it. We actually watched it until it went behind the trees and we couldn't see it anymore. 

We're in Orange County, CA. Any idea of what it is? I just found your email on a site, is it a meteoroid because Wikipedia is saying man-made UFO? Thank you for your time!

Multiple Orange Lights Scattered In Different Directions Across The Night Sky Over Newmarket Ontario

To whom it may concern, I don't know if this email is being sent to Brian Vike or someone else, but I read the post on the blog today about numerous 'orange lights' in Newmarket Ontario.

Me and my best friends were going to buy lottery tickets between 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. o'clock tonight on November 7th 2012, while we step in his car looking to the right of me, there must have been 8-10 orange/red lights in the formation of the "big dipper".

The lights were not moving at the beginning, 2 seconds later they scatter in different directions. Bright red lights, with flashing lights, then 3 of the 10, got in a triangle formation and started heading northwest.

My friend and I continued to try and follow the lights, as we drove, we saw more and more. Never thought this day would come, but now I believe in UFO's and nobody can tell me otherwise. I know what I saw.

Two Unknown Objects In The Night Sky Over Redondo Beach California

Date:  August 16, 2012
Time:  9:30 p.m.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was with my son, soaking in the hot tub when I notice 2 distant objects moving from south to north across the night sky, with a light intensity similar to bright stars.

At first I thought I was witnessing 2 satellites in similar orbits moving across the sky, and while I have witnessed such phenomenon previously, I was curious as to why these satellites seemed to be moving at a much quicker rate and with a much brighter intensity.

Thinking that they must be low orbit military type satellites, I pointed them out to my son, and at about that time, as they reached the apex directly above me, the intensity significantly decreased, which I initially attributed to a change in the angle of the reflection, so I was going to move my gaze elsewhere.

When I noticed that the objects slowed down to an almost complete halt, at that point, noticing the change in speed and intensity. I asked my son, what he thought explained the change in speed, as the objects seemed to almost not be moving.

I briefly moved my gaze to my son as he had bored quickly of the satellites, then tried to find the objects again in the sky, and I couldn't track then any longer. Do modern satellites have the properties described above?

3 Red Colored Objects Seen In The Night Sky Over New Hamburg Ontario

Date:  September 1, 2012
Time:  Approx: 8:30 p.m.

I would like to report the sighting of 3 red objects that were seen in the sky over New Hamburg coming from the east and heading northwest. The first object was spotted about at about 8:30 p.m. on Sat September 1, 2012 followed by another about 5 minutes later and then a third at about 8:50 pm. 

Each object was a very brilliant red colour, had  no other flashing lights, and there was no sound or vapor trail left behind. All 3 objects followed the same flight path. These sightings were witnessed by myself and 3 other people. 

We saw other objects in the sky at about the same time that we could identify as planes, because of the white light on the front, and the flashing tail lights. The red objects were definitely larger and much more brighter and very red.

Orange Fireballs In The Night Sky Over Oconomowoc Wisconsin

Time:  8:20 p.m.

This happened tonight, October 6, 2012 at 8:20 p.m. My 7 year old saw them first. They were orange, like fire balls. There were about 12 in the first group travelling east. 

There were more groups that followed, but these groups were smaller, 2 or 3 at a time. They were travelling slower than a jet. We could here a faint engine sound. 

As they passed us, the lights disappeared in the sky (like they only had one light in the front). 

My 14 year old daughter took video. They are a little faint, but you can see the balls in the sky.

I just saw the same this in Dover NC. We saw it last night and tonight. It was kind of strange so that is why I Google to find out what it was. But it changes colors and moves just like you stated.

UFOs Shoot Up Into The Night Sky Over Burnaby British Columbia

Time:  Approx: 1:00 a.m.

I live in Burnaby, I was standing on my balcony about 1:00 a.m. when I saw what I thought was a plane. I realized it wasn't a plane because it was descending towards a wooded area, where there is no airport, and it was flickering red and green lights.

The way it moved was shaky, hovering I guess you could say, and moving from side to side as it headed in it's initial direction. It disappeared behind the trees. I was looking at what I could see of the northern lights because the trees were blocking most of it.

I could only see the top, a faded green glow, slightly red on one side. 

About 30 minutes later, the green glow got brighter and the object that I had saw earlier shot straight up and went off in another direction. This happen two more times within 2 hours.

They all looked identical except the third one was bigger and there was a noise before it shot up into the sky. I tried recording it in video quality is horrible, but you can still see the flickering of the light and how it hovers all shaky.

I'm trying to figure this out. Any ideas?

Lights In The Night Sky Seen From Massachusetts/Northern Rhode Island

Hi Brian, I saw something unusual and told a friend who asked me if I had seen anything on the web about it. I typed in some basic information and you came up right away. I saw an entry from Berkeley, Mass.

I am on the Mass/northern RI line and Berkeley is about 45 minutes from me so I had to share my experience, although somewhat different. What caught my eye also was that I also saw 9 lights in groups of 3 groups of 3.

It was last night, August 18, 2012 around 12:15 a.m. I looked out my back window, which faces north, and noticed a very bright, straight, light in the sky. At first it looked like a vertical line, but as I looked more closely, it was more like 3 balls connected by a string, something like an ornament, hanging vertically in the sky. 

It was to my northeast in the direction of Boston. No sound. No movement. I watched for a while, but there was no movement. I saw another similar grouping, dimmer and well to the west of the first one. It too could have been bright, but I was seeing it through a cloud that wouldn't budge so I could get a better look. 

I also saw a third grouping, this one to the southeast of the first one and lower in the sky, which was the dimmest of the three groups, but still the same alignment. This one would have been closer to Cape Cod and Berkeley is closer to the Cape than I am.

I don't know what to make of this and have never seen anything like this shape in the sky before.
