Orange/Red Lights Seen By Many Flying Over San Clemente California

 

Date:  May 11, 2012

Time:  Evening.

 

A couple of us saw several lights in the sky over the ocean tonight. First sighting was like 7, then they disappeared. They were in a triangle shape, then one after another was seen for several seconds then as time passed they stopped.

 

We were outside the OC tavern and a lot military guys were also seeing the same thing. At first we heard someone think they were flairs, but then that was shot down because they did not have any smoke trails.

 

Not sure what they were. They just seem to come from the ocean and headed up diagonal up the sky. As they got higher they disappeared.

 

They were red/orange and were blinking. First sighting was several then went from one after another in groups until one one was seen.

 

Really don't know what to make of it.
