I saw a cylinder shaped bright green object hovering in sky above me as I drove north, when it suddenly vanished to the west.

Police Officer Observes Huge Cylinder Craft Hovering And Smaller Disc UFO Land In Northport Florida

Date:  February 4, 1991
Time:  Around noon.

On February 4, 1991 at about 12 noon while traveling north on route 41 in Northport I saw a huge cylinder UFO hovering above an intersection of I think Jacobean Road and a 4 or 6 lane highway with a divider.

I stopped at a light at the intersection behind a car carrying 3 women. There was also a Northport cop working an accident at that intersection. As I (and by the way I was also a Lee County Sheriff Department in a patrol car) was about to turn right into the highway, the woman in front of me swerved and went off the road.

They were all looking up and seemed to be panicking. I then looked up also and saw a huge UFO. Other cars across the road pulled over and watched too. While under the thing, I noticed  a smaller disc at about 100 feet high moving across the road.

It stopped and hovered, then did a falling leaf kind of thing then disappeared momentarily then reappeared  at a lower altitude and then landed in the woods off the highway. I continued to Fort Myers for my meeting. 

When returning off RT75 I went to that area where I thought it landed and found nothing. The next day I returned to the area and searched for landing gear impressions and found none.

I noticed that this place was a large area with a grid of over grown streets as if it were to be a subdivision, so it could of landed anywhere. I might add that the UFO looked at first like a blimp, but when I got under it I saw that it was metallic in nature and very big.

I'm thinking the disc came out of the UFO which I actually didn’t see happening. At that time I heard nothing of other witnesses and never heard of anyone else seeing this.

To this day it's always on my mind. I have over the years contacted several UFO organizations to no avail.

Bright Orange Colored Winged Cylinder UFO In The Sky Over Apple Valley Minnesota

Time:  Approx: 10:00 p.m.

Shape of Objects: Winged cylinder.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Around 10:00 p.m. I looked out my kitchen window to the south and watched an airplane fly by. As soon as it was out of sight, I thought I had seen another airplane come into view when I noticed it was different than a normal aircraft.

The object was surrounded by a very bright orange glow, probably 5 times brighter (or more) than a regular airplane. Just as I noticed the object, its light flared up and it began traveled towards my house.

It was traveling in a zigzagging way and flew directly over the roof of my house. It did not 'whoosh' by like an airplane (it glided very silently) and seemed to be at least six or seven times larger than an normal airplane.

I should have walked to the back of my house to watch it go by, but I was so startled by what I had seen that I just stood there in shock. I only saw the object up close for a few seconds and I could see that it was shaped like an airplane only much, much larger and with differently shaped wings.

I was the only one in the house who saw the object, but I told my father what had happened seconds after the incident. A friend of mine also saw the object, but from a different location in our city.

Mile Long Glowing White/Blue Cylinder UFO Seen From Winnipeg Manitoba

Time:  Approx: 8:00 p.m.

I saw something similar in the south sky from Winnipeg in Summer 2011. I went outside around 8:00 p.m. because I kept hearing lots of planes flying low over the Elmwood area which is not normal.

I looked up in the southern sky and way up there was a approximately 1 mile long cylinder glowing white/blue. I called the family out and every one was in shock it was moving from from west to east and it was massive.

I contacted the Planetarium and reported it. It was not a plane. Having so many planes flying overhead I got the feeling they were avoiding that airspace.

100 Feet Up In The Sky Was A Huge Clear Translucent Cylinder Shaped UFO Near Charlottesville Virginia

Time:  Morning.

Brian, I was telling my family about some lights I have seen in the sky the night Hurricane Sandy blew threw. Here's my story. People at work all think I'm crazy, but I saw what I saw.

It was October 29th, 2012 and I was heading to work on I-64 near Charlottesville VA.

It was raining, but not heavily. I looked up at the tree line that separates the on-going and on-coming traffic.

Up in the sky about 100 feet off the ground was this huge clear translucent tube around 50 feet long and around 15 feet maybe 20 feet in diameter.

I kept looking at it trying to focus in at what I was looking at. It was dark and raining out, but the lights from the traffic on the other side of the trees illuminated the object enough for me to really look at it.

Even though it was a clear cylinder in the sky it had a series of ribs (structural support?).

Then, around 5 minutes later I was still traveling on I-64 when there were these series of flashes in the sky over by Afton Mountain near Charlottesville VA. All the flashes were a dark blue-purplish in color. The flashes were not lightening bolts but more or less a whole sky illumination. 

It was fast and short burst, like a flash from a camera. It only flashed a few times, then nothing. Was the cylinder object and the flashes related?

Strange night altogether.  The Hurricane blowing threw, the weird cylinder hovering above the ground and the blue flashes in the sky. Yes, October 29th will be a day to remember for me. Charlottesville VA.

UFOs Seen Over Two Nights - Black Triangle And Huge Cylinder Craft Seen Over Oconomowo Wisconsin

Time:  Approx: 10:00 p.m.

Hello, my name is (name removed), I am from Oconto, Wisconsin and have been seeing things in our skies for the past month.

It all started last month in September my husband and our 3 children went to Oconomowoc to visit his mother and brother.

On our first night there we went for a walk, my husband and I by ourselves around the city. We stopped by the local lake and were just sitting there on a bench overlooking the water at about 10:00 p.m. central time.

Approximate date was September 19, 2012. As we were sitting there I noticed a flashing red light approaching us from the left in the sky, I at first thought it was a helicopter or plane.

We continued talking and it circled back around the lake towards us, still flashing its red light.

At this point I pointed it out to my husband and we both noticed there was no sound coming from this craft. Our curiosity got the better of us and we started to follow it the best we could.

We went on a point of land that went out towards the water and noticed about 3 other objects in the night sky seeming to almost be going around in circles.

We looked over towards downtown Oconomowoc, Wisconsin and noticed a triangular black craft hovering very low over the buildings with the red blinking object up above it.

At that point a brilliant streak of white light like a comet flashed above our heads and joined the red blinking light above downtown.

I could not believe what we were seeing and ran home to his mothers house for her and his brother to see these craft.

They came out on the back stairs of her apartment also located in downtown Oconomowoc and they also observed these craft flying around.

We continued to walk around the town for a couple hours and observed these craft the whole time we were out there.

The next night around dusk we were walking to the local park to get our vehicle and passed a young couple walking by us, and my husband made the comment to them hey did you guys see all those UFO's last night?

The male answered no, but we want to see if we can see them tonight because we heard about it. We continued on our way until we got to the bridge that crosses over the lake and at that point my husband screams out "there it is", there it is, look at that.

At which point I looked up and saw a light way up in the sky. At that point I saw a bright white light coming from the right of the bridge very, very low.

I turned at that point forward to run away terrified and there was a huge cylinder shaped object with colored windows all around it about 200 feet above my face.

I ran terrified for my life thinking they were going to hurt us, since they were down so low and seemed to come out of nowhere in a residential neighborhood no less.

There were 4 male witnesses to this event also, what be came of them after that, I have no idea as we had passed them on our way crossing the bridge.

Sorry if I'm all over the place with this, but this event has changed my life and thinking so much it's terrifying.

We ran to our vehicle and started it up and sped off to his mothers house and called the police to report what happened, they basically laughed at me and said they would check into it.

The craft we saw with the all the colored windows, was spotted again when looking out his mothers window in the apartment, by myself and his mother and brother hovering over main street about 2,000 feet with white lights going all along the side of it.

I honestly thought at that point we were being invaded and as scared to death. We are not crazy people, we are a young couple with 3 young children that just wanted to visit our family for a long weekend and the whole experience has changed my life.

I try talking to other people and they acted like we are crazy. I am so glad that other people are witnessing this phenomenon also, so we don't feel so alone.

Ever since this happened, we can look out and almost always spot something in the sky that is not of terrestrial nature.

I've been doing so much praying to keep our family safe from whatever is going on.

It was intriguing at first, but when they came out of nowhere right above our heads and it scared the hell out of me especially since we have been seeing them repeatedly since this has happened.

I don't even like to go out at night anymore because I don’t want to see these things ever again.

Vertical Bright Strobing Cylinder Shaped Light Over Northeast Of Edmonton Alberta

Time:  1:15 a.m.

Hey Brian, It is 1:15 a.m. October 16th, 2012 in Edmonton and my friend and I can still see a large strange strobing horizontal cloud lit up by an untraceable orange light north east of Edmonton.

There was a fixed vertical bright strobing cylinder shaped light above the cloud a half an hour or so ago. We could not get a good picture with our smart phones.

We have been watching for a while and the vertical light keeps showing up again but very faint compared to earlier and in slightly different heights above the cloud.

We are trying to call the radio station, but its busy. This is amazing!
