Small Lights Fly Around Then Return To Main UFO - Filmed Over Culpeper County Virginia (Picture)

Hi, I'm (name removed) in Culpeper County, Virginia. I found your website after Googling, "lights, sky Luray, VA."

So I'm outside with the dogs at 10:30 p.m. and noticed this unusual light. Now we live out in the country with a nice, dark sky with a great view of the blue ridge about 17 miles away, no/little light pollution.

This light seemed to be moving slightly. Up and down, side to side, almost quivering. I spent about 10 minutes trying to determine what it was, but with my 50 year old eyes I couldn't tell. So I got my 21 year old son and my zoom binoculars and with them realized that it was actually 3 lights.

So I got my 24 year old daughter out of bed and she came out with her 10X optical/40X digital zoom camera and started taking pictures and movies.

Now the weird thing, we are in the flight path for Dulles and planes go by frequently. So a plane enters from the distance and this light goes out, gone!

Four or 5 minutes later, after the plane is gone, it pops back on and it's back. Just as if somebody turned the light switch off. This happened 4 times.

All of us also saw tiny lights that seemed to come out of this main light, fly away and return to it. It was still visible and hour later when we quit watching.

I just looked at her pictures and I'm attaching the best one.

Hi again, my daughter zoomed in, made it bigger. Fascinating!

Object Was Bright White Trail With Red And Blue Fly Over Long Island New York

Time:  Approx: 6:30 p.m.

I saw a bright white trail w red and blue at the tip fly over me so low that at first I thought it was a fire work but it made no sound and was way brighter than any bottle rocket I have ever seen.

I was able to catch sight of it from beginning to end and as super bright as it was it disappeared in front of my eyes at the end of its arc.

I feel so lucky that I happened to be in the right place right time to see it. Totally awesome.

Long Green Streak Of Light Fly Over Barrington Rhode Island

Time:  Approx: 6:35 p.m.

My wife and I saw the same object from Barrington Rhode Island around 6:35 this evening:

A long greenish colored streak of light similar to a meteorite in the southern sky, plummeting downwards at an angle of about 30 degrees to the vertical,  lasting approximately a second before disappearing below the horizon.

We would be very interested if you could cast some light on this, (pun not intended, but I will leave in anyway!)

Bright Green Fireball Fly Over Shasta County California

Time:  10:00 p.m.

I'm in Northern California, Shasta County. I just saw a bright green meteor fly by at 10:00 p.m. this evening.

I went right inside to share it on Facebook and my husband trailed behind me telling me he heard the sound of a jet following it as I had gone indoors.

I've tried to find similar other sightings for this area tonight. This is not the first time
I've seen this.

I saw a similar green fireball the night of our heavy storms a few weeks back as well.

Two Lights Circle One Another Then Fly Off Outside Of Revelstoke British Columbia

Time:  10:00 p.m.

Hi Brian, I saw two lights that circled one another and then headed in opposite directions.  Like what you described, they were lower and slower than satellites, but bright with no other lights.

I was thinking possibly military planes ?
