3 To 4 Greenish White Lights Circling Around In The Sky Over Southwestern Pennsylvania

So my friend and I were in my back yard at bout 12:10 a.m.

We live in Southwestern Pennsylvania and we saw the same thing you described.

We saw 3-4 greenish white lights circling around in the cloudy sky. What could it be?

Ball Of Light Circling Around In The Night Sky Over Edmonton Alberta

Time:  Approximately 11:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.

Hello, I read your story about flashing lights and I have witnessed something strange, too. Yesterday around 11:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. me and my friends were outside having a cigarette and we noticed this ball of light circling over and over again on the exact spot.

At first to me it looked like someone is doing that with a powerful flash light because I wanted to justify it with realistic explanation, but there were no beams coming out from anywhere.

We watched it for a while, but it just did the exact same thing, moving in a circle without changing location or pattern.

The light was only visible on clouds, but it did not disappear, it just kept going. We did not see any flying objects or anything at all. It was also super strange because couple hours ago my friend read about the incident that happened in Manitoba lake, where apparently an alien ship crashed and military was trying to cover it up.

So that just freaked us out, and for the rest of the night I felt super unsafe and had a really bad gut feeling that something isn't right.

My friends psychic friend even told her that something is coming and it won't be good. This happened over my neighborhood in Edmonton, Alberta Castle Downs area where YMCA is and Beaumaris Lake.

I really hope it is only some joke, but I just wanted to let you know since me and my friends couldn't understand what it was.

Please let me know of anyone else witnessed something similar, maybe they know a logical explanation for it.

Small Lights Fly Around Then Return To Main UFO - Filmed Over Culpeper County Virginia (Picture)

Hi, I'm (name removed) in Culpeper County, Virginia. I found your website after Googling, "lights, sky Luray, VA."

So I'm outside with the dogs at 10:30 p.m. and noticed this unusual light. Now we live out in the country with a nice, dark sky with a great view of the blue ridge about 17 miles away, no/little light pollution.

This light seemed to be moving slightly. Up and down, side to side, almost quivering. I spent about 10 minutes trying to determine what it was, but with my 50 year old eyes I couldn't tell. So I got my 21 year old son and my zoom binoculars and with them realized that it was actually 3 lights.

So I got my 24 year old daughter out of bed and she came out with her 10X optical/40X digital zoom camera and started taking pictures and movies.

Now the weird thing, we are in the flight path for Dulles and planes go by frequently. So a plane enters from the distance and this light goes out, gone!

Four or 5 minutes later, after the plane is gone, it pops back on and it's back. Just as if somebody turned the light switch off. This happened 4 times.

All of us also saw tiny lights that seemed to come out of this main light, fly away and return to it. It was still visible and hour later when we quit watching.

I just looked at her pictures and I'm attaching the best one.

Hi again, my daughter zoomed in, made it bigger. Fascinating!

White Light Circling Around In The Sky Over The Hudson River Stuyvesant New York

Date:  February 18, 2015
Time:  Approximately 4:00 a.m.

White light circling over the Hudson River in the Stuyvesant, NY (USA) Noticed it around 4:00 a.m. and it is still in the sky.

It isn't making any noise, at least I don't hear any, though every now and then I do hear a faint humming, but not sure if it is connected.

Also a plane flew to the east of it, I'm not sure if they were the same altitude though. It has been 40 minutes since I noticed it and it is still just flying around in almost a pattern.

It feels like it is looking for something. This is the second time I've seen a silent white light flying in the sky in Stuyvesant.

The last time was a few years ago, but that light flew north following the river. I wonder if there are connected in a way and I wonder if water is something connected with other sightings as well.

I've heard some UFOs go into the water, not sure if this could be related since it's above the river. If I see it do something other than circle the sky (such as fly into the river) I'll be sure to report it here. I also find it weird that it is similar time as Auburn.

Strange Sound And Light Circling Around In The Sky Over Auburn Alabama

Another Witness To The Bright Orange Balls Of Light Seen Around Grimsby Ontario

Time:  3:55 a.m.

I saw the same orange light over Grimsby at 3:55 a.m. looking directly across the lake from Bronte Harbour.

It was an extraordinarily bright light which lit up the entire sky, created a "yellow brick road" across the lake and seemed to be made up of three/four different light sources clustered together.

I too saw it grow large, almost disappear and then reappear and then at 4:00 a.m. it suddenly instantly disappeared!

I thought I might hear something on the news this morning as it was so bright it must have seemed light daylight in Grimsby, but I didn't hear anything although this morning around 9.30 a.m. there was a plane just over the lake by Grimsby flying in a search pattern looking for something!

I too would love to know what I saw as it was like nothing I've seen before and what was that plane looking for?

Flame Around Bright Glowing Orange Light In The Sky Over Parkland Washington

Tonight, February 14, 2013 we saw a bright orange glowing light over our home in Parkland, WA.

It was moving slowly across the sky seemed almost cloud level. 

Then it stopped just  over us for a few minutes. We looked through the binoculars and could not get much more other then the size and it look like a flame around it. 

It seemed to disappear behind the clouds and moving straight up then it was gone.  We could not hear any noise from it. This occurred about 8:50 p.m. - 8:58 p.m.

Green Light/Object Shoots Towards The Ground But Slowing Around Pearland Texas

I live in Alvin Texas and I was pulling out of Taco Bell which looks out over the general area where Pearland is. I saw it shoot from beside me towards Pearland, then shoot towards the ground and I lost sight of it behind the tree line.

It moved very fast at first, then slowed as it descended. I watched it for probably 10 seconds. I’m glad someone else saw it. I have no idea what it could be. It was so bright, vibrant green.

Red Lights Coming From Around The Murray Utah Area

Time:  Approx: 1:15 a.m.

I was sitting on my balcony about 1:15 a.m. on January 1, 2013 when I saw a glowing red thing floating in the sky. Then another one appeared and after the first one faded out for a minute and reappeared they lined up with each other.

Out of the trees in the distance I saw two more red glowing lights that rose up slowly and hovered so there were four total. They made no sound and didn't have any other colors.

I ran inside to get hubby out of shower to see these, and when I went back outside they were gone. I waited a few minutes to see if any more would appear then I heard a low rumbling.

This was Murray area these lights were coming from the northwest from my direction and seemed to be less than a mile away rising from the ground.

Flashing Object Seen Moving all Around The Night Sky Over Whistler British Columbia

Date:  January 10, 2013
Time:  6:11 a.m.

Hi, my boyfriend and I live in Whistler, area of Nordic. It happened at 6:11 a.m. on January 10, 2013. I was wide awake looking at the clear blue sky, no clouds at all.

Suddenly I saw a flashing light moving (round shape) in every direction. It was not a plane. It happened for about 30 seconds. It was going up then down, everywhere, but never straight in line. It would be up and then disappear and appearing again, but really quickly.

Actually like an electron going everywhere.

My boyfriend was sleeping so I woke him up, it happened again for about 15 seconds and he saw it too.

Right after it happened, I saw about 5 satellites where the lights happened, like if they were looking for something.

I am used to watch the sky a lot and I never seen anything like this before. I just wanted to let you know.

It might be an UFO, but might be a problem with a satellite that I am not aware of.

Hi, thank you. Nordic is in between Whistler Village and Whistler Creekside. Absolutely no sound.

After the second flashing light disappeared (the one my boyfriend also saw), yes I saw five others, but they were really small and not flashing. They flew and then disappear. I would say for the size the two flashing lights I saw were an apple and the five ones a blubbery.

Around 5 Orange Lights Flew Over Gainesville Florida

I saw approximately 5 orange lights last night fly one at a time, evenly space and traveling the same speed. They were fast, but not super fast.

Traveling north from south over NW section of Gainesville, Florida between 7:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. They made no sound and I could not make out object as they passed in the moon light.

White Light Circling Around In The Sky Over Barrhaven Ontario (Searchlight)

Hi, I saw the same phenomenon on Sunday Eve. around 11:15 p.m. Again, what looked like a white orb was circling behind the clouds in the north eastern part of the sky. My son who was biking home said that part of the sky to the west had lit up and then he noticed the circling orb and woke me up to show me. 

At first I thought it had to do with the control tower at the airport, but I've never seen it before and there was nothing in the same part of the sky last night. I'm sure many people have witnessed this sight but have not found any information through Google searches etc. 

Are there people out there who monitor they sky in cities where this might have been recorded etc.? Anyway, very strange occurrence. It would be interesting if anyone has a theory on this. Thanks.

Around 30 Round Orange Lights Spotted Over Sullivan's Island South Carolina

Date:  November 3, 2012
Time:  8:00 p.m.

Number of witnesses: 50 plus.
Number of Objects: Around 30 objects.
Shape of Objects: Circular orange lights.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Round orange lights in a single-file formation were moving slowly and noiselessly in a synchronized, due north direction across the night sky.

Taking their height into account, they might have appeared to be a slow-moving formation of helicopters, but they would have made a sound.

Also, these lights 'diminished' in number from sight, as the lights, a few at a time and then all of them eventually, faded out, like a wicker lantern does.

Four Lights Circling Around The Sky Then Come Together Over Massachusetts

Time:  Approx: 9:00 p.m.

Hello, last night (October 24, 2012 about 9:00 p.m.) I saw lights in the sky very similar to what is described at the-v-factor-paranormal.blogspot.com/2012/03/4-lights-circling-one-another-over.html while driving on I-495 around exit 16.

I got off the highway to see if I could find the source of the lights, thinking it was a promo of some kind. But I couldn't find any explanation for the lights.

There were 4 lights that circled around and came together in the middle, then repeated the pattern.

It happened for at least 15 minutes. There were clouds and the lights were behind the clouds. There didn't appear to be any source for the lights beaming up from the ground.

An interesting coincidence: the post on the blog says March 24, 2012 at  9:00 p.m., the same time and day of the month as my sighting.

Did a fair amount of searching on the internet and this was the only reference that seemed at all similar. No one else has reported anything from last night.

Around A Dozen Orange Balls Of Light Over Palatine Illinois

Time:  Approx: 9:00 p.m.

Hey Brian, I was just telling my coworkers about this (and they were laughing at me) but then my coworker found your post, but I saw almost exactly what a witness described. I estimated at 9:00 last night (10/21). I was in my condo in Palatine that faces SW, and I ran onto my balcony when I saw it (husband saw it too). 

I would say I saw about a dozen balls of light as well, traveling in a northward direction, almost in a v-formation. But then they all disappeared at about the same point in the sky.

There were even a few stragglers, and those disappeared at the same point in the sky too (we were keeping an eye out for those to see if they disappeared too, which they did). 

They could have turned at exactly the same point in the sky, but it was very bizarre! I also tried to grab my I Phone to capture it, but I didn’t have time, and it wouldn’t seem to show up on my phone. I’ll be interested to find out what it was!

Light Moving Around In Circles Seen From Barrhaven Ottawa Ontario

Hi, I have been searching online and on the news to see if anyone else saw this. I was walking home last Saturday, October 20, 2012 around 2:30 a.m. in Barrhaven and I saw the exact same thing!

At first I thought it was just a signal light, but as I kept walking. I realized there was no beam of light going up to the sky. It just kept flying around in circles behind the clouds. It was really beautiful. It was like a bird made of light flying/floating in the sky.

I don't think it was an object and it was definitely not a plane. It was just light or something glowing in the sky. I am used to walking home at night in Barrhaven and have never seen anything like that before.

Anyways, I am so glad someone else saw the exact same thing and that I wasn't imagining it. Please let me know if you have gotten other responses from other people who saw it too. Thanks.

White Light Circles Around In The Sky Seen From Napanee Ontario

Time:  Evening.

We live in Napanee approximately 2 hours from Ottawa and right now we are watching the same thing that a witness was describing. It was freaking me out so I went online and found you.

Additional Information:
Hi Brian, thanks so much for replying to my email. I was just watching this again tonight. It's like a white faint light and sometimes a bit stronger and it circles around in the sky.

It fades when it curves at it's furthest distance from me and then reappears a bit stronger in colour. 

The formation of the light changes, sometimes the light is elongated and then it's smaller in size. There isn't a beam from the ground up, but it looks like it's in the clouds or on top.

It appears to spin at the same speed, but then will briefly hold its position and then continue again. It is in the west and rotates clockwise.

It is in the exact location as last night. I hope this description is somewhat helpful. It's funny, just when I think I have described it properly, I go and watch it again and then wonder if I'm illustrating it correctly.

The light stands alone. There isn't a beam going to it nor does it project one. Thank you again for this. 

P.S.  I am the type of person that needs some rationale that is relevant to me (for example not UFO's). Can you verify for me if there is a possibility that its the northern lights. Warm Regards.

Around 6 Orange Lights Spotted Flying Over Philadelphia Pennsylvania

I  live in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and around 1:00 a.m. this morning I saw several orange lights in the sky that were moving upward. The further they went up, they started to disappear.

It was about 6 of them total. I thought I was seeing things and I had to rub my eyes several times to see if they would go away. Is there any explanation what the orange objects were?
