3 To 4 Greenish White Lights Circling Around In The Sky Over Southwestern Pennsylvania

Time:  Approximately 12:10 a.m

So my friend and I were in my back yard at bout 12:10 a.m.

We live in Southwestern Pennsylvania and we saw the same thing you described.

We saw 3-4 greenish white lights circling around in the cloudy sky. What could it be?

A Number Of Eyewitnesses Watch UFO Make Jumps In The Sky Over Clarion Clarion County Pennsylvania (Nice Graphic)

Canadian UFO Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: I posted this sighting report on February 27, 2015 just after I received it. I am re-posting the report here as I received a nice graphic the witness made to show what the UFO appeared to look like.

My boyfriend and I were driving home from Clarion (the "town") in Clarion county when we spotted a weird object in the sky on our way towards Knox.

It looked like a super bright ball of light with a bar on each side of more white lights. We were both starting at it through the front windshield debating what we were seeing when it suddenly jumped (vanished in clouds and in the blink of an eye was way further away).

Both of us looked at each other and asked, "did/do you see that?" Of course the usual talk followed after we agreed we both were seeing it and were glad we were both seeing it.

We watched it hover and slowly cruise until planes/jets showed up and were approaching it from all around.

The object jumped way ahead of them and they all have chase. We chased it from the ground trying to figure out what we were seeing.

The object jumped at least 3 more times while we were watching and we actually managed to watch it the whole way to my parent's home until it shot of into the sky.

When we got to my parent's, my mom, brother and sister admired they saw it also (the house has a huge bay window they could see it out of plus they were outside a few times doing outside chores such as feeding horses).

We have actually seen the object at least 4 more times since then and it'd only been about a week or 2 since we seen it the first time.

We actually saw it again tonight. It looked like it for down through the trees by the Allegheny river tonight. Kind of scary, but awe inspiring while also raising the curiosity for what we are seeing.

I saw the sky turn bluish/green at approximately 8:30 p.m. eastern time. Weird.

Additional Information:
I was driving down Township Line in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania. It only last a few seconds. The sky lit up a greenish blue fluorescent color, then it was gone.

Sky Exploded Bright White Followed By Blue/Green Light Over Philadelphia Pennsylvania

My uncle and I were driving on 76 E about 2-3 miles from the Belmont/green lane exit at 8:30 p.m. Roxborough was on the right and center city was visible beyond that.

While driving, the sky exploded bright white followed by blue green colors in a circular pattern. It lasted less than a minute. No one on 76 E stopped, slowed down or pulled over.

Every one continued driving on their way. We both thought that there was some kind of explosion, but there was nothing in the news except a power outage caused by balloons in center city earlier in the day.

It was strange. No one seemed to be affected by it.

3 Bright Blue Flashes Lit Up The Entire Sky Over Seen Over Clarion Pennsylvania

Last night I was driving in Limestone and about 2:00 a.m. I saw three bright blue flashes over Clarion that lit up the whole sky. It wasn't lightning.

I thought maybe something exploded, but it was very blue. Don't know what it was, but it freaked me out.

Probably some electrical phenomenon, but I saw this and thought I'd message.

Bright Blue Light Lights Up The Sky And Loud Boom Heard At Benton Township Dalton Pennsylvania

Time:  Between 11:40 p.m. and midnight.

I live in Dalton, Pennsylvania. This is about 8 miles north of Scranton going towards Binghamton New York, near Factoryville, PA and the Lackawanna State Park to be exact.

It was between 11:40 and Midnight. I was just exiting route 407 to go onto route 438 to get home from work when I saw a bright blue light that lit up the sky. I thought it was lightning, but it was  a different kind of light.

It was a steady light, but only last a few seconds like lightning would.
I am not the only one in my area who saw this, so I know it was not my imagination and I am glad to have found the blog where you posted this. Now at least you know it was not just contained to your own area.

It was seen miles and miles from where another person was. 

Thanks for sharing! We also heard a huge boom like noise over more than a 5 mile radius in our area several minutes after seeing the blue light from the sky. My Facebook friend lives in Factoryville.

I live in Benton township near a town called Fleetville and we both heard the boom. I thought maybe a transformer of some kind went down, but I don't think effects like that can be spread over such a large area, however I am unsure, that is just my personal opinion.

Bright Blue Light Illuminated Sky And The Country Side At Damascus Pennsylvania

Last night my wife and I saw the same bright blue light. I happen to be up putting a log on the fire while my wife was a sleep. The light was so bright it illuminated the 10-acre field that surrounds our house and it woke up my wife.  

There was no sound at all. The sky was totally clear with lots of stars visible.

My wife and I live in Damascus which is about 15 miles north of Honesdale, PA.

Long Bright Light Lit The Entire Sky And Area Over Emmaus Pennsylvania

I too saw thus very long bright light in the sky in 1-22-13 at 12:15 a.m. in the area of Emmaus, Pennsylvania while I was traveling home from work. 

It was like a shooting star, but it lit up the sky for about 1/2 a mile and was very wide and it only lasted a few seconds and was gone. Awesome sight to see.

Blue Fireball/Meteor Observed Falling From The Sky Over Bethlehem Pennsylvania

Time:  Around midnight.

Last night around 12:00 a.m. I'm not sure of the time I seen from the corner of my eye a light and I live in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. I ran to the window and seen a blue meteor looking object flying across.

What I found weird was the object came downward, not across the sky like a shooting star. I was scared because I was sure it was something serious. I opened my Facebook in my phone and posted if anyone had seen it right away, and waited to see if anyone else would say something like with every other serious event.

I only had one friend who witnessed it as well. This morning I searched all over Google for a sighting report or something and only came across your posting because of my other friend that had seen it.

It's so frustrating because I know I seen it and almost no one else did and I'm really curious. I know it has to be something different. Meteor? Some UFO? I'm even willing to believe some debris from space or a ship or something.

But I'm glad I'm not the only one who seen it. Feel free to reply or something!

Hello, last night at almost midnight my husband and I were in bed facing our front window. I had just blinked opened my eyes and saw a quick flash of light. He said what was that?

He saw what looked like 2 bright camera flashes consecutively one after the other. This was high in the sky. We are in Jim Thorpe, but I believe our front windows face toward Mt. Pocono.

It was very weird, I kept looking to see if I saw it again. Glad someone else saw it, I thought we were going crazy. Wish we knew what it was.

Bright Flash Of Blue Light And Object Seen In The Sky Over Ferndale Pennsylvania

Hello, I found your webpage today because I was searching for information on the UFO I saw last night, and sure enough, it appears that other people in the area saw what my friend and I witnessed as well.

It was about 11:50 p.m. almost midnight. I was in a small town called Ferndale, it's close to or in Ottsville, PA believe.

Well, we just so happen to walk outside, my friend and I, and he kind of lives on top of this hill.

We saw an object fly through the sky, and this tremendous blue flash of light. I turned and said, "was that lightning", to my friend, but it was much brighter stream of, well like what came out of the sky and blew up in a bright  florescent blue.

It was awesome and then 10 seconds or so later, this chill just came through the air and it got windy, it was strange.

Well hope you can shed some light on what that light was, because we both want to know.

Bright Light/Object Seen Falling Out Of The Sky Over Oreland Pennsylvania

Time:  Just before midnight.

Last night while laying in bed around midnight, I saw a bright light out of the window from the corner of my eye. I looked and saw it continue to fall for about 2-3 seconds until it was out of sight in the horizon. 

The light was much too big and bright than a typical shooting star. I first assumed it was a plane crash or something like that. I immediately looked on social media for others to mention, but no one did. 

So I looked it up today and saw that many others from my area saw something similar near the same time. Weird!

I too saw a huge flash of light, late evening in the west. I thought it was lightening and waited for thunder to follow, no noise at all. It scared my dog enough that she ran into the house.

It was a fast, super bright light like a flash bulb. (but huge). I live in Archbald Pa, not far from the Poconos.
