Date: August 18, 2012
Time: Evening.
Just tonight, 8/18/12 my husband and myself spotted these huge lights in the sky that were not aircraft, which has those distinguishing blinking lights on the tail, there were at least 9 in total that we saw over an hour period.
Other cars pulled over in front of our house to check these things out. Some would head east and then fly so high they disappeared from sight, others went south over our house, but when they first appeared they just seem to float.
I thought there has to be a reasonable explanation for what we were seeing. We did notice however several jets fly over head shortly after this happened, we called the police department to see if there was any other calls, or if there was some kind of event in the area to explain what we saw, but the police had no idea.
Just very interesting, and not sure what we saw.
