Time: Around 10:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
Hi. My name is (name removed). I live in Hilliard, OH. I decided to do a little Google research tonight on the topic of "orange ball in sky Columbus, Ohio" or something like that. I ran across your post.
Anyways, on May 19, 2012 I was coming home from rock on the range concert, which was at crew stadium, which is off 71 and 17th ave. I was completely sober and I believe the time was around 10:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Maybe a little later.
Anyway, I seen in the sky traveling from east to west what appeared to be a glowing reddish/orange ball.
Not a plane, not space debris. It appeared to be moving across the sky at about the same speed you would see a plane going, but this was no plane.
No sound or anything. Just a round, orange glowing orb traveling east to west until it disappeared on the horizon. I was in pure awe watching it. Please keep in contact if you find anything out about this. Thanks.
