Tear Drop UFO Spotted Later In Pictures Over Alki Beach Seattle Washington (Photo)

I was just thinking earlier today about posting that it had been a while since I last photographed a UFO after getting pictures of "orb" like UFO's three times in a year.

I thought perhaps the activity, whatever was going on, had subsided.

I was going through pictures I took at Alki Beach on July 16, 2007, and in one that I took  just after sunset, I got a teardrop shaped UFO, not an orb shaped one like all the others, this one is different.

This is a the small section of the image that contained the UFO cut out so that you can see it at the full native resolution.

Retired US Navy Aircraft Mechanic Observes Orange Colored Light Over Everson Washington

Date:  February 14, 2015
Time:  10:30 p.m.

Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Ball of light.
Colour of Object: N-NW, then West.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I too saw this same or similar light in the sky last night. However, it was south of me heading north by northwest. I live in Everson, WA.

The light was approximately 5 or more times the size of the surrounding stars. I am a retired US Navy aircraft mechanic, so I am very used to visually identifying aircraft of all types.

This light was the wrong color for a landing and or spot/flood light. The object made no noise, and traveled in the sky for more than a minute before fading out much like a meteor would. However, it was traveling very slow across the sky like a high altitude aircraft would.

The thing that really surprised me is, this light made a right turn, however the light source didn't fade as landing lights would during a turn from my vantage point.

My concern was, it was an aircraft on fire. When the object made the turn to the west, it traveled for several seconds, and then slowly faded out. Were there any other reports of this object?

Has anyone figured out what it was? If it were landing lights, I would have seen an aspect change in the lights intensity as the aircraft turned. If it were a meteor it would not be able to make a right turn.

Not having any detectable sound is irrelevant as acoustics from aircraft can be very misleading anyway. The only thing I can surmise is it must have been an aircraft with a major fire, that got the fire out using the onboard fire suppression systems.

Let me know if you know anything. If it was an aircraft on fire, I hope the pilot(s) made it back safely.

Eyewitness Watches Object Make Unusual Maneuvers From Glacier Washington

Time:  Approximately 6:53 p.m.

Did anyone else see the lights in the sky tonight at around 6:53 PDT on January 25, 2015 ?

I looked southeast from Glacier, WA at the sky towards Mt. Baker, which was beautifully lit by the moon.

All of a sudden I thought I was seeing the forecasted comet or asteroid to the left (NE) of Mt Baker as I saw a brightly lit "star" falling. Clear as it could be.

The stars at night up here are much clearer than in more populated areas. So, I'm watching this thing falling, but then, instead of continuing to fall, it took a sharp left turn (headed north), went sideways, then back up, then down, then right, down, up, across all over the place.

It must have gone on for at least 2 minutes. That was no Asteroid or Comet. Did anyone see this?

Eventually it went back to it's "original" position, flickered a bunch and began to fade away. I have never seen anything clearly wrong, defying all laws of physics as we know them, in the night sky like this in my life.

you said 8:50 p.m., maybe one or both of us is off on the time, but it was approximately 6:53 p.m. when I texted a friend over Facebook about what I was watching as I watched it.

I was not looking toward Vancouver, although I'm 25 minuets from the Sumas, Washington Abbotsford crossing into British Columbia.

I was looking as if my back was towards Vancouver, British Columbia, looking southeast toward Mt Baker.

Silent Bright White Fireball Spotted In The Sky Over Ballard Seattle Washington

Time:  Evening.

Hi, thought I would give a report of what I just witnessed tonight in Ballard, Washington (Seattle). I was outside facing east talking to my wife and my eye caught a trail of light travelling eastbound from the west.

As I focused on it, the only thing that came to mind was it looked like a bright white fireball, that just all of a sudden disappeared.

From my perspective it looked like it was maybe 100'-500' off the ground. At that elevation I would guess it was travelling 100-200 mph. (just a guess) Fast, but not as fast as a shooting star, maybe was a meteor, but I have never seen anything that bright white and it seemed way to close to the ground.

It seemed to be burning, little tails or flame like tails, but then just disappeared. I constantly am looking in the sky, but have never seen anything this foreign and it did not behave as any firework that I have ever witnessed.

Any feedback is welcome!

Witness Observes Orange Colored Objects/Lights In The Sky From Spokane Washington

Time:  Approx; 9:00 p.m.

I'm from Spokane, and last night I observed the same thing described in this article http://unitedstatesufo.blogspot.com/2013/02/25-to-30-orange-balls-of-light-lit-up.html

It was about 9:00 p.m. on February 16th, 2013 and as I was walking into my house I noticed 10 or 15 bright orange lights up in the sky. 4 or 5 of them were in a V shaped formation, and there was another formation that resembled more of a square.

At first I thought I was looking at stars in a constellation, but eventually single lights started to break out of formation, and appeared to float up into the cloud layer, where they were no longer visible.

Each glowing light in turn broke away from the formation and floated out of view until I could no longer see any.

It was a very bizarre to say the least. My first thought was they were some kind of military flare, as they were spotted in the direction of Fair Child Air Force Base. However, the balls of light appeared to coordinate in formation.

I've noticed a similar report from Bellingham WA, that described a similar formation of lights 3 hours earlier. That might imply that whatever it is traveled from Bellingham to Spokane.

Unknown Orange Lights Seen In The Sky Over Bellingham Washington

Several people other than my family saw this last night around 6:45 PST in Bellingham, Washington. My mom and step dad happened to be over when my 2 year old spotted them through the window.

It was crazy. I actually called a local radio station this a.m. to see if anyone else reported it.

The guy said he wasn't working and didn't see any notes, but he saw the same thing once and said they are drones?

I'm still so curious to know what it was.

8 Orange Lights In A V Formation In The Sky Over Bellingham Washington

Hey! last night February 16, 2013 over the sky's of Bellingham Washington we saw about 8 orange lights in a V formation slowly traveling over the sky. t

Then one by one they disappeared heading east towards Spokane Washington. Around 6:35 p.m. I am wondering if there is an explanation for this occurrence.

25 To 30 Orange Balls Of Light Lit Up In The Sky Over Spokane Washington

Date:  February 16, 2013
Time:  Evening.

We saw orange balls of light rising from the ground over Spokane, Washington. It was around 9:00 p.m. on 2/16/13. It was very weird. I’m a Surveyor so I can judge distances pretty good.

I walked out of the house and I saw approximately 7-10 orange balls lit up in the sky. They were evenly spaced out in a curve.

They were moving up in the sky and then they were lost in the clouds, but they kept coming up so as we lost sight of one, another would rise.

I estimate that we saw at least 25-30 over a five minute period. What was really weird is there spacing. They all looked to be hundreds of feet apart, but they same distance from each other in a near perfect curve?

We are just north of down town Spokane. The lights were coming from the direction of the Spokane airport or Fairchild AFB?

We did take a video, but you can only see small dots as a plane fly’s by the lights.

Flame Around Bright Glowing Orange Light In The Sky Over Parkland Washington

Tonight, February 14, 2013 we saw a bright orange glowing light over our home in Parkland, WA.

It was moving slowly across the sky seemed almost cloud level. 

Then it stopped just  over us for a few minutes. We looked through the binoculars and could not get much more other then the size and it look like a flame around it. 

It seemed to disappear behind the clouds and moving straight up then it was gone.  We could not hear any noise from it. This occurred about 8:50 p.m. - 8:58 p.m.

String Of Lights Spotted In The Sky Over Southeast Lakecity In North Seattle Washington

Hi, I'm so glad I found someone to tell my story. I live just southeast of Lakecity in north
Seattle. 

I came home February 9, 2013 at about 10:30 p.m. I noticed what looked like a string of Christmas light in the sky, I was looking southeast. 

I said to myself, what would they be connected to. I went to my front yard and watched them, about 9 or 10 twinkling lights, then I saw another one came in view moving toward the string. 

That’s when I wish someone was with me to witness it. Just then a second one came into view, they both came from the south. 

When the first one came near the string, each one of the twinkling objects started moving independently from each other heading up through the clouds. 

I watched until the last one left. They all went through the clouds in the same area following each other. These objects looked like very bright stars, with red and white color. 

When you witness something like this you become a true believer, but how do you make someone to believe in you. They were not helicopters or airplanes. 

They did not fly information, they were independent of one and other. I could not tell how far south or how high they were.

15 To 20 Lights Spotted In The Sky Over Seattle Washington

Well I wondered what we saw. I have been looking in the newspaper to find mention of it, but have found nothing.

I mentioned it to a friend in Alaska and she sent me your link.

Last night at about 10:45 my wife pointed out several fiery round objects moving S/SE through the sky.

We all ran outside, at first I thought it was one slowly spinning object with orange/yellow sparkling beacons on it’s underside, but as we continued to observe I came to believe that we were actually watching 15- 20 separate lights, strung out like a gently waving kite tail, all moving with the wind and slowly gaining altitude until they disappeared into the mist.

There was no sound. There seemed to be something burning in each, as each was scintillating. I believed them to be small hot air balloons, fired by candles. I thought maybe it was a ceremony/celebration as there is a church nearby, but I did not think it was any religious holiday, and the hour was strange to me.

I do remember coming inside and checking the clock. It was just before 11:00 p.m.

We live near John Rogers elementary school in the Northern part of the city.

Object Had Multiple Colors And Seen In The Sky Over Nine Mile Falls Washington

Now I'm not crazy. I was a sleep and my brother whose 17 (a junior). Comes and gets me and he's like look there’s a UFO.

I thought he was lying, but from my bedroom window I can see what appear to be a object floating in the same spot, not moving in any direction except up and down.

At first I thought it was a plane, then a satellite. It had like what people in Ohio were saying, multiple lights red, purple, yellow and green. Green was the most dominate color on it though.

It’s pretty crazy. I was amazed at what I saw. I can’t believe what my brother and I had witnessed. By the way we witnessed between 10:50 p.m. - 11:11 p.m. in Washington state city Nine Mile Falls.

Fiery Object Dropped What Looked To Be A Flare Over Seattle Washington

About 20 minutes ago, 10:13 p.m. local time, we saw a fiery object in the sky.

It looked like it dropped a flare of some sort and then slowly flew around and then we could tell it started to move away, towards the south west.

Ball Of Fiery Orange Light Seen In The Sky Over Henderson Bay Near Gig Harbor Washington

Number of witnesses: 1 (plus my husband saw it just as it was disappearing and my daughter heard me describe it the entire time I saw it).

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I saw a ball of light, almost looked like ball of fire. I thought it was a plane or helicopter coming straight toward my house, not like it was going to crash, but just coming in my direction. It was pale orange.

It was getting bigger, but I couldn't hear sound. I stepped outside because I thought it was odd. It was visible closer to the tree line. I went back inside to get my husband, but when I got back outside I couldn't see it.

Then I realized it had gone way "up" in the sky and was small and it continued until I couldn't really see it any longer. This entire sighting took place over maybe 90 seconds.

I've never seen anything like this. I'll be 70 this year. I was talking to my daughter on the phone describing what I saw.

I asked her to look on the internet to see if a sighting was reported. She didn't find anything, but found this site. (she made this report because she thought it was weird that I made a big deal about this - in her 50 years neither she nor I have seen anything weird enough to believe it might actually be a UFO. We wanted to find out whether anyone else saw it too and try to find out what it was.)

Hovering High In The Sky Was A V Shaped Light Over Issaquah Washington

Time:  4:00 p.m.

Hello, I came across the rush of UFO sightings in Victoria after doing my own search to see if anyone saw what I saw. My 2nd grade son, kindergarten daughter, and I were driving in Issaquah, WA (a town 25 minutes outside of Seattle).

This report is for January 16, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. Hovering high in the sky was a large V shaped light. It did not look solid, but rather a large light, like a laser show V. 

It was extremely bright and high in the sky. It did not move at all. It was a clear, blue day when we saw it. It did also at times look like 3 red lights with the two connecting lines to make the V. 

Of course, we were driving and did not stop for a picture which I am disappointed in myself for. My son (who was driving in his carpool early that day with another mom) says he saw it in the morning and it was white.

Not sure if this is anything, but I felt with the that with the wave of light reports up North, it never hurts to report something and complete perhaps a bigger picture.

Red/Orange Colored Lights Seen Flying Over Tacoma Washington (Video Footage)

Time:  Evenings.

I have videos on YouTube, check them out. I don't know the URL because I'm using the iPhone app. But search up (UFO over Tacoma, WA 12/22/12) I wanted to comment because someone else on your site said they seen something on that day.

Additional Information:
Ok on 12/22/12 in Tacoma, WA I was driving up the street, testing out my vehicle I just had a friend fix for me.

When I turned around to drive back home, I saw a reddish/orange light to my left in the sky, so I stopped and grabbed my iPhone to record it, on a app.

As soon as it was moving, I had to turn around. So I stop the recording to save disk space because I was running real low. I went to follow it to get another clip. I tried to use the same app, but find out later I lost the close up video and the best zoomed in videos got deleted.

But when I went to record with the iPhones original video recorder. It would not zoom  and by that time it was further away, I was able to record it again before it disappeared. 

Note: I seen the same thing in this video 2 to 3 months before the 4th of July 2012. And on the 4th of July me and my family seen 20+ of these same exact ones.

I have them on my camcorder, but for some reason the file type isn’t compatible with YouTube's formats. But here and there from then I see these.

I checked on YouTube on the 4th of July 2012, if anyone saw the same thing, and it turns out that, they were seen all over world wide.

Possible Shafts Of Light In The Sky At Spokane Washington

Time:  Evening.

This is very interesting. My family and I experienced this exact phenomenon tonight, January 13, 2013 in Spokane, Washington. We were at a loss as to what the cause could be.

We initially thought they were search lights or contrails from passing aircraft, but due to color and the straightness of the beams, the ice column explanation makes perfect sense.
