Full Description of Event/Sighting: The lights look to be close.

I have some pictures that came out the size of a star.

Any bright lights in the pictures is car lights from the road.

I do not know if the lights were real low, or way out there.

Seen A Large Group Of Fireballs In The Sky 15 Minutes North Of Airdrie Alberta

Time:  Between 11:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.

Hello there, on  Monday night on my way to work in Calgary, Alberta heading south on the QEII I had also saw I large group of fireball like light heading north.

I first thought that it was a meteor but it did not behave like one.

I was probably about 15 min north of Airdrie heading south and it was between 11:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.

12 To 15 And More Bright Orange Lights In The Sky Over Victoria Vancouver Island British Columbia (Case Solved – Chinese Lanterns)

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My room-mate came into the house earlier tonight and told me that something strange was flying overhead in the sky. He was very excited, and he dashed through the kitchen and opened the door to the sundeck and stepped outside. I got up from my computer and followed him outside onto the sundeck and looked up into the night sky.

There was a fleet of flying craft of some kind up there, bright orange in color.

They looked like a squadron of planes flying together as if they were in some kind of air show. They followed each other, but not in a single line, but rather in a staggered formation, flying at the same speed together. But it was 10:45 p.m. on a Saturday night, and there wasn't any occasion calling for an air show. I was amazed. I thought they must be American aircraft of some sort, and I stood there next to my room-mate looking up at them in puzzled wonderment.

They were totally silent as they flew; no sound of engines or jet noises or anything. Totally silent. And they were pretty darn close to us, too. Not way far up there like distant stars or satellites, more like aircraft simply flying overhead. But they were bright orange in color. No flickering lights, no on and off lights; each one was identical to the others; they were each bright orange flying craft of some kind.

They came from the direction of Port Angeles, Washington. They came from the southwest and were flying almost directly overhead of us, here in the Victoria West area of Victoria, BC. They were headed northeast. There were 7 or 8 of them up in the sky that I could see at the same time, but that's not counting the ones that my room-mate had already seen fly over before he came into the house to tell me about it.

As I watched, more kept coming. All together I must have seen between 12 and 15 of them. I'm very skeptical of jumping to the conclusion that they were UFO's from outer space, but honestly, I've never seen aircraft that were bright orange like that. I mean the entire craft was orange; not just an orange light on it somewhere. And totally silent. And such a large squadron of them all at once.

After the last of them had flown over, I went back inside and immediately went online to try to see if anyone else was seeing these things flying over the city. But I couldn't find anything at all. Then I went and turned on the 11 o'clock news, and switched around the different news channels hoping to find something on there about these flying craft in the sky. But nothing. I kept going back outside onto my sundeck to see if there were any more of them, but they were gone. I have no idea what they were, and I wish I knew. Were they military craft of some kind? American or Canadian? Is there any way I can find out what they were, or if anyone else saw them in the sky on Saturday night?

15 Red Lights Spotted Flying In The Sky Over Oak Island North Carolina (Picture)

Time:  Approx: 10:15 p.m.

Good evening, last night around 10:15 p.m. my son and I saw these balls of red light moving across the sky behind my parents house.

We counted 15 lights in all. We live on West Dolphin Drive and these lights came from behind the water tower by the beach pantry (Middleton Drive) and moved west.

Some of the balls of light moved at a fast pace while others took their time. The balls of light were all pretty much the same size and produced no sound and the light was constant (no blinking). 

We also saw these same lights over the ocean by East Beach Drive back in the August. At that time we counted 8 in all with the same characteristics. We are military and theses were not flares or weather balloons.

15 To 20 Lights Spotted In The Sky Over Seattle Washington

Well I wondered what we saw. I have been looking in the newspaper to find mention of it, but have found nothing.

I mentioned it to a friend in Alaska and she sent me your link.

Last night at about 10:45 my wife pointed out several fiery round objects moving S/SE through the sky.

We all ran outside, at first I thought it was one slowly spinning object with orange/yellow sparkling beacons on it’s underside, but as we continued to observe I came to believe that we were actually watching 15- 20 separate lights, strung out like a gently waving kite tail, all moving with the wind and slowly gaining altitude until they disappeared into the mist.

There was no sound. There seemed to be something burning in each, as each was scintillating. I believed them to be small hot air balloons, fired by candles. I thought maybe it was a ceremony/celebration as there is a church nearby, but I did not think it was any religious holiday, and the hour was strange to me.

I do remember coming inside and checking the clock. It was just before 11:00 p.m.

We live near John Rogers elementary school in the Northern part of the city.

12 To 15 Strange Lights Spotted In The Sky Over Carlisle Pennsylvania

Date:  January 20, 2013
Time:  Between 8:20 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

Carlisle, Pennsylvania, between 8:20 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Sunday, January 20, 2013 my daughter and I were on the back porch. My daughter asked me if that was a plane (she is 52). 

I went closer to the screen and said yes, but look at that, there is another right behind it. A few seconds later, here come 2 more and then again, 2 more, for a total of about 12 to 15 total. 

Planes do not fly that close together, too, too close. However, as others were flying in, the ones in front would completely disappear one at a time. They were flying eastward.

No clouds, clear night with plenty of stars. Eventually they all disappeared out of sight. Planes have flickering lights, these objects did not, just lit and that was it. 

Called our Police Department, they informed me that others had called with the same information. A very weird display of what I do not know.

15 Glowing Orange Colored Lights In The Sky Over Bridgeport Connecticut

Time:  Early evening.

Hello, today January 17, 2012 I was leaving my uncle's house in Bridgeport when I looked in the sky and saw around 15 glowing orange lights flying in the sky. I immediately called my husband and who were  in the car so they could witness was I was seeing.

My cellphone died and my husband couldn't take his phone out in time to take a video. The lights floating slowly in the sky, in little scattered groups. When they reached a certain point in the sky they just disappeared.

There were no tall buildings in the area we were in off of Main street in the north end. There was also no explanation. It couldn't have been airplanes. It couldn't have been balloons with lights in them.

It was so odd and I have no idea what I saw. I'm glad that some of the stories I read that people were describing reminded me of what we saw. It was so strange!

About 15 Lights Spotted In The Sky Over Kendall Florida

I saw the same thing in Kendall at approximately 12:45 a.m. There were initially three lights and they were followed by two more a few seconds later.

I saw roughly 15 of them over the course of 10-15 minutes, and they all appeared in groups of 2 or 3.

They all followed the same path, disappearing into the clouds, and their speed was consistent.

15 Unknown Lights In The Sky Above Edmonton Alberta

My neighbor saw about 15 of these at 7:30 p.m. last night, she describes them as being in clusters, some of them appeared to have something like a fiery exhaust or tail.

She describes them to me in exactly the same way as you have here.

Her name is (name and phone number deleted) and is relieved to know that in this instance at least, she is not crazy :)

10 To 15 Orange/Red Colored Objects Flying Over Boynton Beach Florida

Date:  December 24, 2012
Time:  7:35 p.m.

I was on my way dinner when we saw 10-15 orange/reddish lights in the sky in sporadic formations. They were moving slowly, and eventually one was over our car, less than 200 feet up. By this point, they all began disappearing one or 2 at a time.

Had perfect view of the one over our car, it was disk shaped with no wings, eliminating the possibility of an airplane. (lights weren't flashing on any of them either, they were constant glow).

That one was the last to disappear, as it did almost instantly.

15 To 20 Orange Balls Of Light Over Orlando Florida

I just saw these balls about 6:10 p.m. tonight while I was walking my dog. I ran inside to get my camera, but am not sure I got any good pictures, what are these?

I saw the first one and thought it looked strange because of the color (but I do live close to OIA) and then I saw several more come from the northern sky just gliding silently and they veered off to the west.

There were about 15-20 of them following in a line, some in a group, amazing.

10 To 15 Pink/Salmon Colored Lights Flying Over Long Island New York

Time:  Approx: 9:20 p.m.

Hi, I know this is going to sound weird, but I too saw about 10-15 pink almost salmon colored lights approximately 9:20 p.m. I was on the stoop with my dog waiting for Santa with the fire department and I looked up and saw 2 pinkish light almost side by side, but angled.

I then noticed 2 more then 2 more and so on. I have a video of them on my iPhone, but its grainy and you can't see the color, but you can see the number. As they flew over it was dead silent and then they all passed over and disappeared into the clouds!

Anyone else in NY report this?

I immediately called my mom to tell her what I saw. I thought it might have been President Obama's aerial escorts crossing over Long Island to head to Connecticut for the school shooting memorial, but it was too quiet for that.

Please let me know if I am the only New Yorker to have seen this and will be more than happy to send the video to you.

15 Red/Orange Lights Flew Over Sheboygan Wisconsin

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I went outside to take out the garbage and I saw three reddish orange lights in the sky. These particular ones were in a triangular formation.

I called my husband to come out and he also saw them. When those past by we saw about six more almost paired together. Then there were a few single ones. There was no noise from them at all.

It immediately got cloudy after that. That was the first time I had ever seen anything like that!

12 To 15 Red Lights In The Sky Over Nicolas Parkway Cape Coral Florida

Full Description of Event/Sighting: We were on Nicolas Parkway at the Traddie light and saw 3 red lights in the sky traveling all about the same speed going west. Then we saw 3 more as we headed south on Santa Barbara.

We turned off a street to go back towards Nicolas and saw a few more. Lost count as to the total we saw. Got out of the car to see if we could hear any chopper or airplane noise, but we couldn't hear anything.

Was kind of noisy with all the traffic, people heading home from the Coconut Festival. We thought it might be planes running patterns around the airport waiting to land.

But have not heard of anything on the news or internet to tell us of any problems. We just can't understand so many lights at one sighting and any reasoning behind it.

Moving together random pattern with no sound. A minute later one solo came almost over my house and then faded out.

Over 15 Glowing Red Fire Like Object In The Sky Over Massachusetts

Myself my father and my fiancé were taking out the trash and noticed overhead a line of fast moving glowing, red fire-like objects flying in a line. There was no sound and there were over 15 of them flying north.

There was planes in sky also they flashed and made noise, these did not. We can't explain it.

15 To 20 Red/Orange Lights Flying Over Newmarket Ontario

Time:  Approx: 7:35 p.m.

I too saw the red lights in the sky last night (November, 7, 2012) around 7:35 p.m. in the eastern sky over Newmarket, ON.

Not sure what I saw, but there were a lot of them. Didn’t actually count, but there were at least 15-20 at that time.

I watched for 5-6 minutes and they were all definitely moving in a northwesterly direction, but slowly. It looked like a string of red and amber Christmas lights in the sky.

Strangest thing I’ve ever seen. Just before 8:00 p.m. when I arrived back at home, all but 2 had disappeared.

We stood and watched these 2 for about a minute and they just “went out”. I would love to know what that was.

Approximately 15 Orange Colored Lights In The Sky Flew Over Salem Illinois

Date:  November 3, 2013
Time:  9:30 p.m. -10:00 p.m.

Tonight around 9:30, my mom and I spotted a low flying, slow paced, orange glowing object, coming from the north heading south. As we got out of the vehicle to go into Taco Bell, I looked up in the same direction that I saw the first one, and we saw three of them together, in a diagonal formation.

They were so low flying we thought we could hear them, but we didn't. About five minutes later another one appeared out of the north, and was traveling at the same speed of all the others. Every five minutes another one appeared!

All together we spotted roughly 15. I do have a picture of the three in diagonal position. Thought I would share my story with someone who has seen the same!
