Time: Evening.
Hi there, last night, November 2, 2012, I saw rapidly circling lights in a clockwise direction on my way home. I live north of Colorado Springs.
It appeared to be 4 beams circling in a clockwise direction, and sometimes looked like 6 beams.
The light was within a low-hanging cloud area to the south of my home in Larkspur, Colorado. It was difficult to tell whether it was within the cloud, coming from above, or coming from below.

Having pulled over to try and get a photo, several other drivers pulled also, watching and trying to film the event.
I called 911 and spoke to Douglas County (CO) Sheriff's Dept, who transferred me to El Paso County (CO) Sheriffs Dept. No other calls had been received.
El Paso county then called me back to state that "the Air Force Academy (near Monument, CO) was having an event with a large tent", no other details.
