I also saw the 3 orange/red lights passing over Pearland, TX around 11:55 p.m. on December 31, 2012. I was driving down the street when my mom noticed them and pointed it out to me. I pulled over and we watched them in formation moving across the sky.
After a couple of minutes, one seemed to disappear and two continued to pass overhead. As I began to drive off, my mom watched as a second disappeared and one continued to fly out of sight.
