Full Description of Event/Sighting: It was about 6:45 p.m. on January 5, 2012. We were driving on Rt. 28 going east between Phoenicia and Boiceville, NY. In the sky overhead in front of our vehicle a light or object crossed the highway going from north to south.
It was a white light with green sparkly trail. It wasn't possible to tell how high it was in the sky and quickly disappeared to our right behind the dark woods or mountain.
